    Brum 0-2 Fulham

Horrible defending - entire team taken out by one ball over the top

Decent ish chance for 0-3 and would’ve been an Alfie May “assist”…

Stansfield scoring against them is extra funny as they were all sure they were signing him

I hope Fulham get five. Because that will make Birmingham's shirts look just right.

Do Boro have Bob Mortimer and Chris Rea in their side?

The Millway shirt is horrible (matches the team I suppose), the Leyton Orient one nice. Much better than the away shirt they wore at the Valley. Echos of Peter Kitchen.

@Callumcafc this was the tweet that caught my eye for that game though.

    Some things never change...

More than happy for as many league 1 clubs as possible to stay in the comp. More games in their legs than ours.

    Third round draw

    Liverpool v West Ham
    Man City v Watford
    Arsenal v Bolton
    Man U v Barnsley
    Wycombe v Aston Villa
    Coventry v Tottenham
    Walsall v Leicester
    Wimbledon v Newcastle
    QPR v Crystal Palace
    Stoke v Fleetwood
    Brighton v Wolves
    Everton v Southampton
    Chelsea v Barrow
    Brentford v Leyton Orient
    Blackpool v Sheff Wed
    Preston v Fulham
  • Great ties for a lot of lower clubs.

Bolton, Barnsley, Barrow will all earn good money, local-ish derby for Walsall, local derby for Orient, Wimbledon get another PL side at home.

That's where the EFL cup can be really good for lower clubs. It only takes a couple of single leg wins top get a plum draw.

terrific result for Wimbledon .. very odd third round draw, basically 'seeding' the premier clubs involved in Euro competitions, i m o that is not on, a pure luck of the draw is a big part of cup competitions

can I just say what utter bullshit the contrived draw was for the big six.  They should be forced to play the kids in the 3rd round if it clashed with European fixtures!
