England won the World Cup in 1966 (football), 2003 (rugby) and 2019 (cricket). (Beautifully, they also won it in red, white and blue order, based on the kits they wore in the finals).
Who will be the next team - if any - to win the men's World Cup treble?
Australia have won rugby and cricket, but are nowhere in football.
France have won one (football) and been runners-up in another (rugby), but are, of course, nowhere in cricket.
New Zealand have a proud record of winning rugby world cup finals matched only by their record of losing cricket World Cup finals. They don't do well in football.
Argentina are brilliant at football, good at rugby and are ranked at 58 in the world at T20 cricket, between Vanuatu and Philippines.
Brazil, frankly, don't need to be any good at anything other than football and beach volleyball.
India? 1/3.
China? 0/3.
USA? Very good at lots of sports, apart from ones where other nations compete.
So, who do you think will be the first team to join England on the virtual honours board of winning the World Cup in the three sports that matter?

@Callumcafc Obviously Australia tick the cricket and rugby boxes, but football? They're currently 24th in the world rankings, below the likes of Japan, Iran and Korea - I don't think any of those have reasonable pretensions to win it. Do you think they can?
@fenlandaddick Brave!
@carly burn I think you're right.
