I know I’m treading on very thin ice but would it be possible to have a thread dedicated solely to the upcoming election - on the proviso that it will be shut down if there’s a whiff of CL personal derision?  It’s just that the outcome of the election is of such importance.  I’d be interested to hear comments about the debate.  It went better than I could have imagined for Kamala and I can only hope the polls start swinging in her favour.
