R.E.G. : 5 - shaky defensively and nervous on the ball. A big downgrade on Alex Mitchell
JONES: 7.5 - another fine performance from our most consistent player. Drew an excellent save fron their goalie
GILLESPHEY: 5 - slow, with the turning speed of an oil tanker. He is extremely vulnerable to players running at him. Put in a couple of good crosses in the second half
RAMSAY: 6 - sound defensively but offered little going forward
COVENTRY: 7 - he was effectively a one-man midfield with his two inept colleagues
DOCHERTY: 4 - invisible, save for skying one decent shooting opportunity over the bar ion the first half
A.CAMPBELL: 3 - did nothing on the ball and got nowhere near the Blackpool midfielders. Was blowing out of his arse after an hour
SMALL: 6 - unlucky to be hooked, especially as he's a left back (unlike Gillesphey)
KANU: 4.5 - was comfortably contained by the Blackpool defence
AHADME: 5.5 - started the game well but faded, although the service was poor. A very unfortunate own goal
T.CAMPBELL: 8 - MoTM - practically all meaningful attacks came through him on the left wing. Let's hope Jones shows some tactical flexibility and is not dogmatically wedded to 3/5/2
ANDERSON: 6 - an upgrade on Docherty and Campbell
BERRY: 6 - lightweight and lacks pace but at least he offers a goal threat
ANEKE: 7.5 - made a big difference immediately when he entered the fray with his strength and quality
GODDEN: 6 - might have done better with that opportunity towards the end
Referee: 3 - practically impossible for referees to distinguish between genuine and sham head injuries, although given the number of Blackpool players dropping like flies, it must have been apparent to him that they were feigning injury for tactical reasons. He could perhaps have had a stern word with Blackpool's captain to tell them to cut it out, although would it have had an effect ? The more serious beef with the referee was his willingness to give soft free kicks for any semblance of physical contact

R.E.G. : 5.5 as I said about his Tuesday night performance, positionally all over the place, and pace got him out of trouble. Same as yesterdsy, but couldn’t get out of trouble this time.
JONES: 6 wasnt his aggressive self
GILLESPHEY: 7 prob the best out our defenders yesterday.
RAMSAY: 6.5 was sloppy, but still was all good
COVENTRY: 7 our best midfielder on the day, lacked support, and we didn’t use him as we could, as we go to long to often
DOCHERTY: 5 worse game for Charlton, but I think tactics didn’t help
A.CAMPBELL: 3 terrible, game totally by passed him.. but we have had some terrible midfield loans over the last few years, on yesterday/Tuesday performance I would put him top of that, with the amount he is costing.
