The smoke from the flares behind one goal is ridiculous. I can't recall watching a game previously, where there has been so much smoke engulfing the players so often.
Spurs are so enjoyable to watch: Despite being down to 10 men after 6 minutes for a crazy last man foul by the wobbly Dragusin they are now 3 up despite Qarabag having had 5 great chances including a penalty that went over the bar. Comedy football but great entertainment.

pretty much nailed it. It just needs some Benny Hill music played in the background!
Mikey Moore of Spurs - @JohnBoyUK will know him well - is being touted as the next big thing in English football. Still only 16 but made a couple of sub appearances for Spurs at the end of the season.
That boy is going to be an absolute star. I have watched quite a bit of the U18s and U21 games this last season and he's the absolute pick of a quite a select bunch now. Moore (CM/AM) , Jamie Donley (CM/AM), Tyrese Hall (CM), Alfie Dorrington (CB) and Will Lankshear (CF) are all coming through and are pushing to be involved in the first team. All English too, thankfully.
Moore reminds me of Gazza. Not hugely tall, low centre of gravity but as strong as an ox. Two footed, happy playing left, right , down the middle. You give the ball to him and he makes things happen. I guess the nearest modern day player you can compare him too is Foden.
I so hope he makes it. We've had some good prospects over the years and they have never quite fulfilled their potential (see Marcus Edwards for example, now at Sporting Lisbon) but everyone seems to be rating him as the best of a generation.
If you're interested, well worth looking at some of his clips on You Tube.
I've copied the above post from the U17 European Championships thread.
Moore made his first full team start last night for Spurs in the Europa. He might have a baby face but he is as strong as an ox. Started wide on the right, finished on the left after the introduction of Heung Min Johnson/Brenaldo and he looked just so comfortable, you would never have guessed he was 17. Instrumental in the first goal and put a chance on a plate for Werner (who to no one's surprise he missed!) He has been hyped up so much over the last 18-24 months but it was so good to see him doing it for real in the first team. After that performance last night, I'd have no hesitation in throwing in him from the start in PL games now.
Lankshear also started last night. Caused the opposition some problems. Good signs for Spurs and England with players like that coming through.

There's a guy on twitter (i refuse to call it X) - https://x.com/InvertTheWing - who has been raving about Moore for ages and has pretty much hailed him as Messi reincarnated.
He does look very good and you're right in that it's positive for Spurs and England. The only problem is that the likes of him and Nwaneri (i'd say they're our two best U18 prospects) coming through both play in positions where we're already well equipped with Saka, Foden, Palmer etc, none of whom are old themselves. We need some top quality centre backs, left back and a keeper to come through!!
