If so it was a masterstroke to allow him to go to Northampton and be match ready.
Its why we couldn't select Karlan Grant in 2017/18 after he had been on loan at Crawley.5 -
The rules on returning loan players (as usual) are unclear. Loans typically end at the beginning of the next registration period, meaning that a returning player cannot feature for their parent club in playoff games. However, there are exceptions, and a 2018 rule change allows…

He will score the winner at Wembley, then we will get relegated to the conference south for playing an illegible player13

All a non-event anyway regarding Taylor, he won't be integrated into the squad and the tactics etc enough2

Would be helpful to have in case disaster struck with Conor Coventry. Otherwise the alternative is MacIntyre or dropping Docherty/Anderson deeper.3

Northampton final game of the season...
"It was a sad end for Perry and Taylor as both limped off with injuries in the second half of Saturday’s 1-1 draw. Perry needed lengthy treatment after a nasty clash of heads while Taylor appeared to suffer some kind of leg injury following a challenge in his own penalty area."I'm not too sure with Terry,” Nolan added. “He just felt something. We don't want to be sending players back with injuries and that's the same for Ben who had a nasty cut on his head. I told them to get him off and get it seen to as quickly as possible. It's important we look after them so they go back to their clubs in full health.”2 -

Interesting that Peter Varney thinks that.
It appears if it's a standard loan agreement you can play for your parent club in play offs but modern loans rules say you can't until the next registration period.
Don't know which loan TT came under but Nathan would only want players that have been in and around the group in '25'.0
