I think Mainoo is a good player but from the bits i've seen i think the Rice-Gomes pairing looks like it works better. They complement each other and the midfield seems better balanced with Gomes in there.

I dunno - i actually think we need a bit of a character. Someone to actually fire us up a bit.

Every manager we have had has been stoic and serious rather than any kind of character..... Southgate, Hodgson, Capello, Eriksson, McClaren, Taylor etc.

Tuchel is a bit different..... kind of intriguing imo.

Tuchel’s issues have always been falling out with the board over transfers, would be interesting to see what happened if he managed any international team
