    Same old shite. Another dreadful half with absolutely zero threat. 

    One goal in the first half all season! 

    Let’s hope for another vast improvement in the second half, but the reality is we are going absolutely absolutely nowhere based on th season so far - Birmingham aside we’ve been poor all season and we’re a quarter of the way through.

    I can't help but feel for those die hard 500+ travelling Addicks travelling all that way on a Tuesday night, Nathan needs to kick some butts or this will end up very embarrassingly....

    Not a lot in that, got to say we saw a defender on Saturday doing what he was told never to do, let the ball bounce' and tonight Mannion pushes the shot central rather than wide, two goals conceded from elementary mistakes. We need Tyreece on if possible, we are too predictable again, get him on the wing, make the full backs mark him, Godden and Leaburn are being marked by the whole of Barnsley's back four.

    Meh. Started ok, and I guess we still were after the goal but we just cant find that killer ball/ shot. Play is breaking down around the Barnsley box mainly from our own doing thanks to a lack of quality, Leaburn has tried to make it happen but hes one lad and its a team game after all. Godden has tried getting shots off when he can but its slim pickings for Charlton strikers.... as usual.

    Barnsley made their spell on the ball count. We didnt.

    Anderson and Campbell have run around a lot, Campbell won a few fouls but thats about it from those two. 

    Anderson off for TC or Berry please.

    Good half if you ignore that the opposition have had more goals, more possession, more shots, more shots on target, more corners, more crosses, more dribbles and more tackles won.

    I have been saying how bad Anderson is all season. No amount of running makes up for being that crap when you actually have possession of the ball.

    What I don't understand is, in the latter stages of the transfer window NJ said he wanted to bring in some real quality, and then he signed Alan Campbell.

    What a turgid performance so far. Charlton's problem is not a lack of effort, coordination or will. Just a pure lack of any real talent anywhere.

    No idea what we are doing letting them have that time and space to get the shot off.. looking at the replay I’m pretty sure Campbell actually moved out of the way of the ball… think Manion should do better too.
