Away League Form

Looking at our Away form in a bit of detail, going back to Xmas 2020 it stands as the following for Away League Games only -

- W 26 (28.88%)
- D 30 (33.33%)
- L 34 (37.77%)

Why are we so poor away from The Valley? Admittedly, in this time I've probably been to only about 10 of these games but watching us frequently on the TV and stream, we really are an unbearable watch away from home.

All of these games have been in League One and not a higher division.

No wonder we are nowhere near challenging for promotion or play-off spots

    That's an average of 1.2 points a game. The issue is that you need your home form to be exceptional to help drag that up. "Win at home and draw away" 

    We had a run of about 15 away games where we failed to win IIRC

    You should see the home games.

    Give or take a few games and that is average across the board. And that’s what we were last season and so far this season, bang average.

    Agree with this. It’s not just an away form problem. We have been even further below par with our home form the last 3-4 seasons.

    Not bad at all all considering how bad it used to be .. 1 or 2 away wins a season with fortress valley to rely on for a top 10 finish. The good old days..
