Emmanuel Dieseruvwe scored twice to fire Hartlepool to a 2-0 win over Aldershot.
The striker found the net in each half as Pools – under the guidance of caretaker boss Lennie Lawrence – stretched their unbeaten league run to four matches.

Forest Green lost top spot in the National League after Ryan Inniss’ first-half dismissal proved costly in a draw at Woking.
Rovers looked set for a long afternoon when defender Inniss was shown a straight red card for a poor challenge after just 21 minutes.
Time for Nathan Jones to abandon his worn-out Luton Top Trumps deck and build a team of younger and hungrier players. How is Danny Hylton getting onto the pitch ahead of Thierry Small? Embarassing business.
As a guess, it’s because Hilton is a forward and small a defender. We was am chasing the game and needed an attacker
once chucks and Kanu are fit, we will not see him again
Don't you mean if Chuks gets fit again. And pointless relying on him anyway when sadly he goes missing for weeks time after time.
Well then Jones has got no chance with this lot of bang average footballers!
I’m glad this week is over and we can go back to normal
Match wise it was normal, we are bland, average and boring to watch. The only thing not normal was us getting a last gasp penalty and not cocking it up!
I'm glad we didn't lose! This place would've been in more of a meltdown than it is now! Yes, we weren't great, but I didn't think Wrexham were either! It was a defo penalty as well. We are missing our two best defenders in the squad, Jones & Ramsey, and last season we would've lost that game and the one against Stockport. Now we have fight and determination, summed up by Mitchell at the end giving it large to Mclean! Yes, we're nowhere near the finished article, we've also got our super-sub cheat code, Chuks out as well! We're 3 points off the playoffs, we've got excellent players to come back and, hopefully, the board will back NJ in January, with a playmaker in midfield! Finally I'm looking forward to seeing Dixon when he's fully up to speed, he could be a game changer! I'm nowwhere near as down as some and still bloody hopeful that this will click!
"Lwe've controlled the game and we've played some unbelievable football. I feel for the lads."
It's a shame Parky has turned to hard drugs since he left us. They were slightly more shit than we were and a draw was a fair result
I think they were a fair bit less shit than we were, but "some unbelievable football"? , come off it, Parky. Or do you dress up your comments for "the US market" now, like the rest of that fucking circus?
Thought it was another unimpressive performance from us but like Tuesday, somehow we’ve scored twice and got a point.
Despite our stats looking better I thought Wrexham looked like the sort of team Jones wants us to be. Organised, hard to beat, fairly direct. They’ve played together for a few years and improved their squad over time. They’re used to playing together and from their league position know how to win games. They’re not going to regularly blow teams away but they might keep grinding out results. That consistency could keep them in the top 6, another day Lee’s effort goes in and they get a comfortable win.
Our team on the other hand has had two busy transfer windows, one just before and the second since Jones came in. We don’t have a clear best team and the injuries are building up.
I lost count how many times our attack broke down because we gave the ball away due to poor passes. We don’t have to be a possession based side, but it’s an area that needs a big improvement if we’re to have a good season.
What was a strong defence now looks less convincing. We’re not far off in terms of points that’ll soon grow if we don’t improve in attack, in defence or ideally both.

Think he's just full of shit! Counter attacking team for sure but they are an injury or 2 from being an average team.
Just seen the sky highlights. Some cross and header for our first goal and a good finish for their second. Looked a pen but can see why you’d be annoyed if given against you. Well taken by Godden

And this is part of the problem. We might have started the season with 5 strikers (Aneke, Leaburn, Kanu, Godden & Ahadme) but 1 just can't start a game even when "fit" and another was not match fit at the start 8f the season & hadn't been part of a full pre-season.
So we started the season playing TC up front & to date he has yet to score, thus putting pressure on the other strikers.
And the cherry on the icing on the top of the cake.......we sold last season's top goalscorer. Not just OUR top goalscorer last season but the LEAGUE'S top goalscorer. And replaced him with someone not as half as good.
My Wrexham supporting mates who all went today singled out TC as a proper talent.
Too many of our lot saying "No end product", they should remind themselves how he was looking this time last year. Even in Spring, most people on here had no better expectations than "out on loan" for this season. He clearly worked hard on his physical fitness in summer, and deserves great credit for that - although NJ can take credit too for backing him and rebuilding his confidence. He's starting to get me out of my torpor on the sofa (default position for most games this season) in the way CBT. I just don't think he's a striker, by any stretch, any more than CBT or JRS are.
I don't know how anyone watched that and thought we were good for a point. That was a truly dreadful performance completely devoid of ideas summed up by bringing on an out of shape Danny Hylton.
A penalty at the death glossing over another sub par effort. 1 win in 7, 11th in the league, and the pack is starting to pull away from us.
Were Wrexham much better? Pretty stuff at times but palmer and Mullin looked poor footballers. Good at shithousery but dog shit footballers.
a point was a fair in my view
Interesting to see that view, as everyone round me thought Palmer completely bossed our defence all game. Played rhe target man role brilliantly
They have a quality strike force in Mullin and Palmer.
The league table doesn’t lie. 11th is about right. Can’t understand posters clinging onto the season as if we’ll suddenly morph into a top six team. We’re miles off yet again. No idea where this club is heading but we’re very much an established third tier football club now. Depressing and disappointing club to support. Jones was another false dawn. After 64 years of support I finally feel the passion for the club slipping away. It is what it is though I suppose.
League position isn't critical in October, but points are. We may be placed 11th but only 3 points behind 5th place.
It's tightly packed in the top half of the table - and any of those teams could close the gap, including Charlton. The one thing you can be sure about, is today's table is not going to be how it looks after 46 games - which despite all the mid-season fretting, is all that counts.
We're looking unbalanced at the moment, especially having lost Ramsey, L Jones and inevitably Chuks, to injury, and lacking creativity and clinical finishing. But we're playing promotion chasing teams and we're not getting beaten.
You know, we've been through this movie before ...... October 2019, we'd just lost to Rochdale and were 13th in the table. We still won promotion.
Oh ye of little faith, follow the roller-coaster - with 33 games remaining, it's all to play for.
Only difference I can really see are that this current mob are not fit to lace that lots boots!
Ironically I’m sure there were many comments saying similar things during that October comparing that team to the one from 2011/12.

Pretty good summary Scoham, this line 'I lost count how many times our attack broke down because we gave the ball away due to poor passes' is the standout, to make passes you have to have options, countless times when the ball went wide there was no back up from a full back, no overlap, no option offered, so we try a risky pass inside and get picked off. That tactic of stay at home full backs is deliberate, I thought at the start of the season, leaving Thierry Small out was down to the contract situation, I'm not so sure now, far too overlapping for Jones's liking.
I expect Wrexham will be as disappointed as we were at Barnsley. I thought we were the better side in the first half and Wrexham were stronger 2nd half. Its difficult to say anything different..we aren't creative enough but for Campbell, the other Campbell, Anderson and Docherty really don't offer much and Leaburn looked uninspiring. Not convinced by Mannion. On the positive side we battled well...its the games against the likes of Stevenage and Bristol rovers where we should have picked up more points...there's still hope which as we all know..kills you

I was one of the ones saying "no end product" because unfortunately it's true.
He's featured in every game so far and has zero goals or assists. It's all very well being exciting on the ball, but when the most it leads to a corner that we fail to score from, it's not good enough really. I want him to do well and he's the only proper pace option we have up top, but he's not producing the goods so far
Hopefully we try something different in the two football league trophy games we have coming up.
We know TC is best on the wing & I’d like to see Small & Dixon given minutes as wide men in a front 3 with Leaburn (to see if one of them can be the answer to the other flank).
It would be hard to create less than what we currently do, so has to be worth experimenting with.
Were definitely not gonna catch the top 6 playing the way we currently play. Clueless going forward.

They have a better handle on meeting some of the crosses into the box than our strikers do.
