STATBANK: CHARLTON 2-2 WREXHAM

thanks to the 87 Lifers who gave marks and a special thanks to Johnnie Walker for his final broadcast this afternoon, one of the best DJs of my time. If you are wondering why Ledburn got an assist it is because he drew the foul that lead to the penalty

  • No doubt I'm being thick, but I don't recall Leaburn drawing a foul that led to the penalty.
T Campbell was hacked down for the free kick that led to the penalty.

I checked the video a number of times and it looked like a cafc player with a 11 on his shirt, if I am wrong please let me know

    Sorry, your words confused me.
Campbell drew the foul that led to the free kick.
But the free kick was headed down by Leaburn and hit the arm for a penalty.
So yes I suppose Leaburn assisted "getting the penalty".
  • CE: no suppose about it if Leaburn had not headed it there would not have been a pen - simple!
  • Yes sorry, when you said drew the foul I thought you were talking about T Campbell drawing the foul. I didn't realise you were talking about the handball.
  • CE: understood no probs, no need to apologise partly my fault for not being clear but by the time I get that far with the stats my brain hurts :)
  • I am not sure that playing TC for a full match is good for the result as so far he has produced no goals and 2 assists. OK he looks great weaving his magic as he attacks but it rarely produces anything,, I would agree that the opposition usually put two players on him which frees up space but we do not take advantage of it. Yes he is young and learning his skills and I do not suggest that he should not be in the match day squad but perhaps used more as an impact sub than a starting player.
