This shirt was worn at the start of 05/06 with allsports as the sponsor. They went bust early in the season and Llanera took over the sponsorship. We have both shirts in the museum.
there's an 1987 adidas long sleeved blue third kit on there for 4 grand
It was on for £6k originally so they have taken £2k off the asking price and it is still too much.
Is that shirt authentic @Henry Irving I don't remember the red collar at all?
We have one in the museum, same design and colours.
No idea if the one on ebay is authentic though.
People like Robins Retro making replicas with no indication that they are reproductions will lead to people thinking they are "real" or dodgy sellers trying to pass them off as such.
Great value atm, personally I expected it to get to 1k.
Great value? £455 for an old bit of cloth?
Some people have more money than sense !
Don't ever watch antiques road show AFKA, people saying some old Chinese vase is worth £1000s, a painting some French bloke knocked up valued in millions.

Its all about context, football collectables especially old kits are very well collected. Its a very good deal compared to what someone would have had to pay 2 years ago.. cant be many in that condition, although a small in the 80s is probably a large child size now !

Also sold a 1992 back to the Valley shirt for £110 yesterday.
Got a few others on sale on eBay currently
There is a white GK shirt that is similar, but it's textured and made of a heavier material.
These are quite common, i'm suprised you've not had one in the museum before.
Here is an off the peg Bent shirt which is the same.
