Charlton let down many predictors last week by being held 3-3 at Southend in normal time. As readers of this blurb will know, I like asking ChatGPT for its predictions. It confidently thinks the game at Exeter this weekend will end in a 1-1 draw. That doesn't seem unreasonable to me. However, so that you can all make a few quid, I asked ChatGPT to name the scorer of Charlton's goal. With equal confidence, the reply came back that Alfie May would score. So, there you go, slap a few quid on a 1-1 double with Alfie scoring the goal.
Back down to earth, and it's worth mentioning that last week was a very low-scoring week with more blobs than any other week so far this season. Whether this week's games will be a can of worms or not remains to be seen. However, I think someone might get a maximum this week. For those who travelled to the Essex coast last week, there's an extra chance to use your knowledge about Southend, as they are one of this week's Guest Fixtures. I suspect no one saw this week's other guest team, Motherwell, last week, but it's close enough to mother-in-law to help you make a prediction. Over to you. Pick your favoured three games; there's plenty of choice, too. Good luck.
