    No I think we've only seen Edun as a CM under Jones, which given he started at Fulham as one makes a bit more sense.

    T Campbell on the bench, Dixon not even in the squad. I don’t think we are ever going to see any desire to get bums off seats under Jones. Doesn’t like loans my arse nobody would let him near anyone with talent

    Jones has once again gone with a narrow midfield and neither of the two strikers can self-create. Without Leaburn and Tyreece Campbell, it's hard to see where our creativity and goal threat comes from, save for Terry Taylor's set plays.

    Not optimistic, I'm afraid, even with Walsall resting half their first team.

    That team selection does not look good. Anderson and Ahadme starting after recent performances? No start for TC. Leaburn and Dixon not even on the subs bench. Hylton in squad. WTF is going on!

    I am glad I have a prior engagement and won't be watching. It could be a tough afternoon.

    I was so optimistic when Jones joined but honestly losing faith now ! I just can’t see what he is trying to do other than bore the opponents into mistakes. It’s just embarrassing that Walsall (like Southend) feel they can rest players against us. No ambition no excitement no plan. I would honestly take Garner or Holden over this bloke atm

    Yup.

    A team in the league below us is confident enough to rest half its first team.

    Our manager picks a 21 man squad that consists of practically our entire first team squad and a starting 11 that is very nearly our best line up (Ahadme excepted) at the moment.

    How far we have fallen.

    Dxon scored 4 goals against a weak non league side. League 2 defenders would be more likely to kick him to pieces.

    Possible that Leaburn is just being rested, as he's played a lot of Football of late, after being out for a year - What with being subbed with cramp recently.

    I think he was a midfielder at Lincoln, we used him as LB/LWB
