Got sent this by a QPR fan. Surely this is one league Jones can win with his 'front footed' football. If we lose to PNE and of course play NJ's 'front footed' hoof ball as per Burton and Crawley then surely FAC3 will see us crowned champions.

We're above Millwall.

Preston, QPR, Stoke, Gillingham, Bristol City, Shrewsbury and Cambridge are roughly where they should be historically.
Millwall are if anything punching above their weight, they’re lower champ/high league one level.Blackburn are perhaps slightly below where they should be but not miles off.
Barnsley again are perhaps slightly lower than their level.
Everton hold some sort of record for years in top flight, they’re realistically about 5/6 places below their level.
They forgot Oldham, Southend, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Darlington, Torquay and Hartlepool.0 -
Just been reading about Swindon, and about to reach for the 'clubs in trouble' thread. How come Preston top this chart?0

As there any particular methodology behind this list or is it just what one person thinks?0

I am absolutely convinced we should be number one in that list. There’s other clubs with ownership difficulties that are clearly going through worrying times, but for steady stuff nothingness and continual underperformance, we are the champions7

We are number 1 of those clubs , continually underperforming.1

Maybe we should rein back our expectations?2

Millwall have 12 points from a possible 18. They are 10th in the championship and 5 points from the playoffs. Blackburn are 2 points from the playoffs. The definition of depressing must be based on something other than performance.1

When you think about it. we have had 3 good seasons in 18 years.
11/12, 12/13, 18/19
Every other season has ranged from underwhelming to abysmal and the last 4 seasons have been rinse and repeat.

Don't know if I don't know the history but what is depressing about supporting Preston? Haven't they been around 2nd/3rd tier level for around 60 years? Not like many of the fans would have ever seen them be good0
