  • Hopefully it means the game's been cancelled.

It'll give me a couple of hours of my life back tomorrow and save hurting my eyes.

Perhaps we've given up planning and its whoever turns up with their Boots and their subscriptions who gets on the coach. I expect about there will be about four who can be arsed.

Here you go, one match preview:

Charlton are playing hoofball at Lincoln tomorrow (12.30 at the ground formerly known as Sincil Bank). It will probably be shit, so it's unlikely anyone much will be paying attention. Jones will be managing the team at kick-off, the big question is whether he will still be managing it by the time Strictly starts.

Much better than the usual chap who seems to have given himself the week off ...

Team ?  nobody knows ! Tactics ?  Fuck going wide, it might be muddy out there,  Keep it tight, if we concede, hoof it into their box, result ? predictable so we won't bother with that minor detail.
  • Dartford bridge is shut if you’re travelling up. Might be worth allowing some extra time if you’re travelling from south of the Thames. No doubt chaos will reign shortly.
  • Approach ok at moment.

Both teams have almost identical records in their last six matches and lie 17th and 18th in the form guide table winning one drawing two and losing three with minus two goal differences.

Docherty and Berry are available for selection after serving suspensions and Lloyd Jones is now available after his brief return from injury midweek

Your guess is as good as mine as to the line up but here is how I think we’ll line up fitness issues permitting in a 5-3-2. Prediction 1-1 (Godden)

    AMB

    REG Mitchell Jones Gillesphey Edwards

    Docherty Coventry Taylor

    Godden Ahadme

subs: Reid, A Campbell, T Campbell.Small, Leaburn or Kanu, Berry, Potts

  • This could get messy. Our recent record up there is not good and despite Jone being 'so far in credit' this might balance it up  3-0 to Lincoln, a tv nasty.

Will the game go ahead? More matches called off including Merseyside derby.

I reckon this will be called off
  • Hoping it goes ahead and the weather is dreadful - might give us a chance. If Lincoln can't beat us they should be worried.

Heavens due to be firmly open for the duration, with the wind really picking up in the first half.

Well done to all who are travelling.

We will win this one. Always do when least expected. Wont be pretty though.

2-1 to the team in yellow.....or grey....or black.

I'm saying 2-2, statistically, we are two of the most boring sides in the league, and the Lincoln fan on Charlton Chronicles said he thinks 0-0 as all their early kick offs have been nil nil. For that reason and the dodgy weather, I'm saying goal fest.

Alex Mitichell and Gas for our goals, reckon this game Mitchell gets on, he's been close lately and he's up against his old club.

I've also done the club and Jones the favour of preparing his post match interview:

Lincoln: no wins in 5 league games

Charlton: 1 league win in 7

Tough conditions for both sides. A score draw
  • When is the pitch inspection?

bollox. Merseyside derby off. Gonna have to watch us now!
  • Am on McGrandles to score, who like Albie Morgan, must be pissing himself about how woeful we are.
  • Total football education of precision passing showing just how to play in the wind,  by Lincoln,  meanwhile Zorro watches his own clearance sail back over his head,  1-0 them.

May have a chance of winning it now. With any luck the ball may fly in their own net if it goes ahead
  • Some of our punts from the back will be a threat to aircraft if they get caught in the wind.
