Is it not a potential good thing for the fans in that section of the pitch?
Lights arent on, so they're not able to see what is going on during the match itself
Sounds like those seats should fall under Premium Season Ticket prices3 -
Which then makes me wonder whether old Roly would have some sort of disrepair case if he wanted to be vindictive? I assume we could be accused of allowing the place to become rundown?bobmunro said:AndyG said:

Who is responsible for the general upkeep of the stadium? We are after all tenants.
If you were renting a house with knackered plumbing and electrics the landlord would be expected to sort it out.
If that is the case here, then I would say there is bugger all chance of getting things fixed as Roland won't be spending a penny on us.
Yes - it will be a full repairing (and insurance) lease.0 -
Can we borrow some of Millwall's lightshow?0

I see what you did there 😉🙂Redmidland said:On a slightly different tack, what must opposition fans (and indeed players) think of our club overall if we can't offer proper lighting for the game.
Surely our 'mega-rich' owners can afford to replace the faulty lights? Or perhaps the SMT hasn't told them?
It really is a bad reflection on us in my opinion.1 -
And if we could coordinate for the crowd to play Coldplay Viva La Vida at exactly the same time on their phones that would be awesomeoohaahmortimer said:Why don’t we all just put our phone lights on and aim them at the pitch, will create a sense of togetherness amongst fans6 -
I am not sure about access to the West stand roof but when emergency lights needed replacing under Rolands ownership the club always ducked out of doing the work due to the cost of cherry picker and scaffolding hire.Weegie Addick said:I’m guessing it’s not possible to swap the current bulbs around ie so that every other one is working rather than have four/ five/ six in a row not working?0 -

Maybe Ipswich or Luton have some spare bulbs we can loan?15

And taking lights from one place, just leaves dark patches elsewhere, as each light is directed at a certain part of the pitcheaststandmike said:

On the bulbs - Finally a role for Chuks given his landlord / house development sideline 🙂0

The usual terms are restore to original condition when vacating. It’s not unusual for firms to go bust and fail to do so, but RD won’t care anyway unless he tries to move Millwall in.Clem_Snide said:

no one leaves bulbs in the corner5

One thing that annoys me is how long it takes to remove graffiti, has the Millwall graffiti gone yet from the wall on Floyd road?
Assume it's to do with the council? I've always wondered if we could ever get that wall to be Charlton themed.

I know to some people, stuff like that won't bother them, but it genuinely pisses me off.
Like away at Northampton, stickers on their walls from Peterborough fans mocking them over the 5-1. They played them 12 days before they played us and no one checks the stands to take stuff like that down?
Again, to some people it might just seem like a moan, but it's a pride thing, graffiti and the likes mocking your own club should be removed fairly promptly.6 -
Went to the New Year's Day came for my brother's 70th birthday. They've got two very good players, a centre-back from Spurs and a winger who would be an upgrade on TC, but the football was dire.guinnessaddick said:

No idea about floodlights but with filament bulbs in general, they seem fragile and if you move a part-used one, they always seem to go pop immediately. (I'm hoping my retro Christmas lights survived being taken down, I've only got 7 spare bulbs left and they now cost a fortune on eBay.)cafc999 said:

Right, back to Gavin Carter. First, pretty much his whole family was at a match recently and second, Kevin Lisbie calls him "Gav". That's a good sign isn't it?1 -

CAST should ask the question of why we appear to have so many lights not workingcafcfan said:

How many members of the SMT does it take to change a lightbulb?
Answer: 8+8+829 -
The wall is likely private property in which case the council would need the owner’s consent to remove graffiti. If it’s offensive (I know!), racist or threatening they could act unilaterally. The club has no standing in this and would have no rights but could ask the owner for consent if they wanted to do it.Braziliance said:I know to some people, stuff like that won't bother them, but it genuinely pisses me off.

This stuff is complicated because of ownership issues even between public bodies, councils and utility companies and the risk of liability if property is damaged. I know because we are targeting it.3 -
Best that @Braziliance just brings some tipex to the next game with him and sorts it himselfAirman Brown said:

I thought it would be something like this, bloody ridiculous but fair enough, thanks for explaining.Airman Brown said:

The mural should be restored and treated with anti-grafitti paint IMO as it represents local residents fighting to save their homes but that's not a job for the club or fans.12

Should be replaced with a massive mural of Danny Hylton, though not sure the resident would be pleased with their property referred to as ‘The Shithouse”Henry Irving said:The mural should be restored and treated with anti-grafitti paint IMO as it represents local residents fighting to save their homes but that's not a job for the club or fans.5 -
