3rd time I've been to the final and tonight was by far the best. Certainly got our monies worth!
Great darts
The dogs abuse has already started for Littler.....What is he? 18?
Ridiculous.
Reckon he'll retire by 30. Maybe earlier1 -
It was pretty sad to see Littler in such a state when Sky tried to interview him last night. His comments about sitting at home and telling his family he didn’t want to carry on will either see him vilified or the crowd will let up.
Unfortunately I suspect it will only get worse for him. Quite why a percentage of the UK public have such a huge issue with people ‘at the top of their game’ I will never understand.
Littler seems popular with the rest of the players so you can only hope that they will get around him off stage and he carries on playing.
The darts last night were off the scale and any one of the players would have been a worthy winner.0 -

Well that was a fun night. We was on Table L4. I dread to think how much my brother-in-law paid for the tickets. Decent view of the stage but no chance of seeing the darts without the giant screens.
Observations:
1. Emma Paton is lovely.
2. Wayne Mardle is taller than I expected.
3. 4 pints = £40, ouch. Leads on to...
4. If you've paid £10 a pint, why on f*cking earth are you throwing it in the air without drinking it.
5. Everyone one of you singing Tottenham Get Battered, go f*ck yourself. Rent free in your heads motherf*ckers the y's are staying up.
Who won the darts? No idea, absolutely battered.. 😂😂😂

Not sure how you got home mate but another thing to add is that North Greenwich station is a death trap waiting to happen.JohnBoyUK said:

They rightly hold everyone back outside because the platform is full. But once it's cleared, they only open two of the many double doors meaning there is a bottle neck of epic proportions trying to squeeze through. Once through that ,you then have to navigate the escalator route which is basically at a 180degree angle from where you entered.
It gets very very messy and something they seriously need to address.1 -
yeah I went last night, great night - been the last few years and we always buy our tickets a day or so before on the resale site.

The trick to completely bypass the queue is by walking around the building to the left and coming in from the bus stops side.
We was on a tube in 3-4 mins of coming out.1 -

We live in a country where jealousy is rife. People just can't cope to see someone making a success of their life. It is always someone elses fault why they haven't made it and somebody else has.
Littler, Hamilton, McIlroy - just a few examples and thats in sport. It is bad across all of society. Success is somehow frowned upon.3 -
There's a bit of that but there is also firstly that Littler has got a bit of a stroppy/arrogant streak - as a load of 19-year-olds have, even more so given the money and attention he gets, I think he'll grow up.DamoNorthStand said:Clem_Snide said:It was pretty sad to see Littler in such a state when Sky tried to interview him last night. And secondly it's darts, it's about drinking and the pantomime as much as the sport. Look at the stick Price used to get - again, I think it'll settle down.

My son bypassed the £10 pint by taking cash and doing a deal.
