Playing TC as a striker again? When will Jones ever learn!!!
I think Jones' ego is such that he thinks he knows best...regardless of the evidence.

TC should be on loan to a L2 club. The fact he starts for us at all shows we're nowhere near ready for promotion.

Most of the others have never been 100%

There is only one winner for this one. Cobblers you say. No....the Addicks !

    0-2. Leaburn & TC

I got the front 2 right. Think Jones did the same as me & just pulled names out of the hat.

LOL, that's hilarious to include Aneke in that.

Looks like it’s Small at RWB, don’t see that helping us add width going forward.
Would expect TC or Docherty to drift wider
Yeah they naturally will, but it's still not ideal having Small on the right (now I say that watch him cut in on his left foot and score a screamer).

Kanu is doing the pre match running drills according to Louis. I find it odd he's not in the match squad if he isn't ill

Maybe he's at 60% so it's not worth the risk unnecessarily

If he's got the sickness bug he should be nowhere near the rest of the squad

Sure but we've all had sickness bugs, you recover but don't suddenly feel 100% for the next day or two
  • Finally taking Anderson out of the starting lineup.  It will be good to play 11 v 11 instead of 12 v 10 again

Every time we take him out we lack energy and teams play through us very very easily.  Just look at Crawley at home.

Of the three remaining games in 2024 we should be able to muster six points (assuming we remember how to score) with Wycombe unlikely to produce much. That should give us a morale boost as well as lift us into the top half of the table. If we fail to beat - or at the worst get four points - from the Northampton and Cambridge games we are facing another second half of the season looking down rather than up.  Above all, please spare us Jones banging on about the joys of clean sheets after another 0-0 draw ...

Maybe he told taffy to provide some crosses so he can score goals.

    Record with Karoy starting: 3W 5D 3L

    Without: 3W 1D 4L (lose 50% of games)

Neither are great but we’re far more likely to lose games that Karoy doesn’t start - backs up what you say about teams being able to play through us when he’s not there.

Agreed we have no legs in the midfield without him...

Wouldn't be surprised if we went 4-3-3 with Leaburn central and Small and TC wide.

It won’t be, that would mean Alex Mitchell at RB and the thought of that scares me.

Worth a try - it’s probably as mobile a front line we could put out, except Kanu, and with such a ‘stodgy’ midfield, it could help balance things up

I note Taylor and Kanu can have slightly iffy games and be left out altogether , whereas others can stink the place out for weeks and stay in .
    Good timing ;)

Team stats don't account for individual performance, though.
  • Fuck me we’ve scored in the first half!
