From the ridiculous to the sublime when comparing most of the recent average scores.

Unless we follow up that performance with similar against Cambridge and Wycombe it will remain an outlier.

Trying to use the width of the pitch has to be the way forward and why Nathan Jones has taken 20 matches to realize that, only he knows. Does he now realize ?

When he used 3 central strikers in Godden, Leaburn and Ahadme as his forward line on two occasions it was so crass that it was doomed to failure.

Don't let the Cobblers be a one swallow doesn't make a summer; let's have a flock of the feeking flappers !

  • Is Alex Mitchell now on a ban for five cards or were some in the cups?

League only, so yes will miss Cambridge

Michell will be available for selection on Boxing Day as the cut off for 5 yellows was the 19th league game of the season

    Northampton was the 20th
Really was our afternoon then wasn’t it…🙏
  • Has Ashley been scored harshly? He didn’t let any goals in and was given an average of under seven.

That tends to happen when on the rare occasions we have a big win that the keeper will have a score between 6 and 7 despite the clean sheet and be the lowest score. Especially when they have so little to do.
Very unusual for all the outfield players to get an above average score.
Possibly Birmingham and Bolton but for the majority of games this season we have had many rock bottom scores.
