Why do so many teams make the away fans sit in the corner, when the rest of the stand it empty, it shouldn’t be allowed. It really gets on my tits. Looks so shit on the tele as well.
I know, mate, but at least it's in the stand behind the goal. Loads of clubs have moved their away sections to the side which is even worse. I think it was Martin O'Neill who implemented this when he was at Villa and it's caught on.
Sunderland the worst offenders, shifting us from a decent view behind the goal and visible on telly to invisible and up in the Gods. Load of old shit.

Nullifies atmosphere from the away end, I can understand that.

Where at Charlton we have done the complete opposite and designed the away end in the shape of a giant megaphone.
A shame that it's not practical to house the away fans elsewhere.
  • I like the fact the away fans get the whole jimmy seed, in fact I think all grounds should give one end behind the goal to away fans - better all round, Newcastle and Sunderland shoving fans up in the gods is rubbish. Hate going to those grounds.

There are Premier League rules about the location of away sections, but Newcastle and Sunderland seem to have found a loophole.

The PL and EFL should enforce this, stating that all away sections from next season have to have some seating next to the pitch, or at least it should be located where no home fans are between them and the pitch.

MK Dons also have away fans away from the pitch for no reason at all, when there are well over 20000 empty seats.
