Does “I thought” actually mean “I made up” in some weird attempt to blame the bastard capitalists for fucking up Charlton’s remembrance event.
As on another thread just now, you weave your politics into everything, however inappropriate.0 -

Credit to the Reading fans though who it appeared joined in the clapping to a man and there was certainly no singing or shouting.
This memorial and any memorial should be when as many fans as possible and all the players and officials are present ie just before KO.
Shunting it to 2.50 would be even more disrespectful than the Kevin Nolan tribute.
There was nothing wrong with the tribute other than the ref blew too early.
Seems utterly ludicrous what happened - not a difficult thing to organise the timing.
I do question the priorities of some within the club following the mess made of the Kevin Nolan tribute.
Regardless of whose fault it was I felt very disappointed yesterday and I'm sure I'm not alone.
They have responded to say that it was raised in the post-match report and that they'll be taking it up with the relevant authorities. They added that they fully understand the frustration, which they very much share, on an important day for many fans.
Info@cafc.co.uk if anyone wishes to do the same.8 -

Hi folks. My uncle, Pete, posted on here about getting a photo/video of my dad's name during the memorial. A heartfelt thankyou to him, Henry Irving, oohaahmortimer, @clive and all of you who have helped to find footage of my dad's name (Barry Ward) and to those who've posted their condolences. I'm always proud to be a Charlton fan, but even prouder given the caring responses. We've suffered a bereavement and are about to suffer a second no-fault eviction in 6 months. You guys have managed to give us a huge lift. Bless you Charlton fans 🙏🏼.15

Glad to have played a small part.
Praise due to James Bell at the club who compiled the list and added the final two names at the last minute.5 - Sponsored links:

Thank you too James Bell. We were blown away that you managed to get dad's name onto the list. It's deeply appreciated - my mum was really touched that you did that (as am I). Thanks again everyone.2
