The January northern hat trick

I'd like to acknowledge those who'll be doing all three of Preston, Rotherham and Bolton. A phenomenal effort and at short notice too.

I'll be at Preston and hopefully Bolton but not Rotherham.

Few years back we had the February Northern Hat trick. Scunthorpe, Sheffield Wed and Blackpool . Done all three of those.

Blimey. 2007/08 season. I did all three of those too. A pair of defeats and an ugly 0 0 at Hillsborough in the middle, after which I recall Pardew lamenting our low turnout that night. Bloody cheek!

Two midweek as well, rather than the easier Sat Tue Sat.

1000 mile round trip for me that Sheffield game. Wife enjoyed Peak District. She didn’t fancy Scunthorpe or Blackpool.

I presume you know Preston has been postponed and rearranged for this Tuesday?
