So, Trump thinks a last resort is to take Greenland by force. I believe Denmark have the "rights" over this self governed province. As Denmark is part of nato, would nato step in to defend an attack by another nato country? How could that work?

Who's going to launch a counterstrike against Russia? I don't believe for a second Trump would authorise one unless the US is attacked and I doubt Macron or Starmer would either. The sooner prime Russian targets such as the Baltic nations, Poland and Germany invest in their own nuclear deterrents the better as I'm damn sure the Russians have come to the same conclusion.
