    We win a corner.....ref blows for full time. Unlucky lads,deserved more from that. Mannion barely had anything to do apart from pick the ball out the net twice and thats what counts!

    Preston lucky to win that one IMO. Outplayed them for most of the game.

    They had two shots on target and scored two goals. At the other end their keeper makes a top save that most L1 keepers don’t make to keep us out. One of those nights.

    A defensive error and a set piece beat us. Spirited performance those moments aside. Take that into the league and we should get some positive results.

    FT 2-1, we deserved to be out of sight in the first half, and should have taken our chances, Preston had two shots on target and scored with both, Mannion has mad one save, say's it all.
    Oh well, the league it is then, but well played all, and respect to the travelling Addicks, safe journey home one and all...

    Thought we tailed off towards the end, but we gave a Championship side a game and didn't roll over. If we play like this in the league we could still make the play-offs.

    Huffed and puffed but not much up top to trouble Preston. The story of our season really. Preston are championship but a lower half team so probably an even contest. 2-1 fair. On to the league.

    Good effort, shame it was more about our defensive mistakes than Preston’s quality.

    Thought I saw Enslin watching from the stands in the last few minutes. Might have been useful off the bench for Small or TC over having four strikers. But I get why Jones doesn’t want to leave senior players out.
