Latest ever Charlton winning goals

Thierry Small scored today on 90+6. Willing to be corrected if anyone can find better but I make that the latest in nearly 10 years, since JBG's v Hull in Aug 2015 (90+8).

Excluding extra-time, any other late, late winners we can throw into the mix. Can anyone beat JBG's 90+8?

Play off final 2019 was 90 + but not as many as 8.

Loved that Gudmundsson goal. Blowing away a late equaliser with a brilliant winner to cap off a lovely start to 15/16 and let us know how strong we were going to be that seaso- oh it went wrong immediately after that? Shit.

Charlton are weird, we've had really good Augusts and gone on to be relegated, and also really bad Augusts and gone on to be promoted.

It may not have been the latest in terms of time, but it was the latest in terms of how close to the end of the game it was.

Six seconds, and exactly 3 touches later, and it was all over...

Not winning goals but being a complete weirdo I remember writing these down (just found them on my notes on phone, proper weird) having watched the end of this game again looking at the time wasted when the goals were scored and Ipswich’s long celebrations as they went 2-3 and 2-4 up .

    90.50 goal

    92.39 restart

    93.57 goal

    95.15 Restart

    95.53 goal

    96.31 restart

    98.15 goal

    Restart 99.30

    Full time 99.45

Not sure how late it was but my favourite late goal was Jensen against Aston Villa. Friedel had come up in desperation for a corner and scored to make it 1-1 and then we went up the other end and won it!

Blackburn, and he made it 2-2. Jensen made it 3-2

Old age is setting in. I was thinking Blackburn and typed Aston Villa. In a quiz the other day, I knew the answer was Oscar Wylde and told the person writing it down it was Orson Wells! I couldn't believe I had said Orson Wells, but everybody in my team said I had.

Karoy Anderson’s one on Tuesday was about twenty to ten!

Good shout but just looked it up and it was only 90+2

Jacko’s 92nd min winner v QPR will always be a favourite

In terms of equalisers, Naby Sarr’s 95th one at QPR was great, as was Godden’s 97th min pen v Wrexham this season.

Not as impacting, but Jnr has just reminded me that Aaron Henry’s injury time equaliser v QPR in the league cup was a cracking strike.

I left once Ladapo made it 2-4 and by the time i'd walked back to the car parked on Thorntree Road it was 4-4

  • One of the most dramatic was Migel Llera’s 94th min equaliser v Swindon when we only had 9 men back in 2009 (16years ago already!)
Always a special memory for me that one. Last game I went to with my dad.

JBG got a late one against Hull early season. Knock down by Makienok.

Just remembered Denis in the last minute was so late Palace could only just kick off and the ref blew for time.

It was only 90+1 but that Danny Green winner on Boxing Day in 11/12 for his first Charlton goal lives beautifully in the memory. The Yann 90+1 against Bournemouth wasn't too bad either. Plus Dale Stephens' 90+3 thunderbastard equaliser against Bury. That team just didn't know how to be beaten.

Obika's 90+6 winner against Leeds in 12/13 was a late late one as well

Other than those important details, he got it sort-of right.

Doing a psuedo-11+, I got 96/100.  The one I remember that I got wrong: North is to South as East is to...  I put North.

Same as Alex Rae (spit) for the Spanners against us.
