I seem to have subscribed to receive comments on a thread. I have no idea how I did it nor how to unsubscribe. I used to work in IT so this is a bit embarrassing!!

    Just to let you know that you can't unsubscribe from alerts on threads you start. So you'll still be getting alerts every time someone posts something on this thread.

    To be clear, yes you can. No one need get any form of alert notification of email from the site if they don’t wish. Just edit your profile and then select Notification Preferences
