A stat which interests me is the number of saves AMB has had to make compared to Mannion. There is a big disparity which suggests our defensive game has got better through the season.

Or moving away from route one and finding our best team (aside from who’s our first choice striker between Leaburn and Godden) has helped reduce the number and quality chances the opposition create.

I expect it’s a bit of both, but it was clear a while before Jones changed the style that route one wasn’t going to work for us.

MOTM was a close call, and could have gone to quite a few...

Is this the highest score for a referee?

last season the only ref to make a seven was J.Simpson away at Derby with 7.06, as for this season you can check the statbank as all the scores are there

He deserved it. Best referee we’ve had for ages.

Ref scoring almost as high as the team average. For once I didn’t have anything to shout about. Nice peaceful evening for those around me.

Gillesphey gets a lot of stick on here but 4 assists in the league makes him joint top with TC.

    Another assist today (for Blackpool).
