    Got the sons mixed up it is Tyler who plays rugby, it is his younger brother Phoenix who has signed for Spurs .

    Tyler is the Rugby player, a winger at Bath and England U18. He had offers to join a host of other R U Premier clubs. The younger son Phoenix, a 'centre forward', is the footballer, newly signed with Spurs after time with Palace, Brentford and QPR

    Gillesphey seems to make a couple of mistakes each game and we've generally got away with it - yesterday we didn't. Not sure if it's just poor concentration.

    Thought AMB did okay - gets far too much criticism.

    He had to deal with a swirling high ball whilst on the retreat, not impossible but difficult to deal with. From what I've seen, Gilli is vastly improved from his early days here, and has a good partnership with Lloyd Jones. Their follow up and finish after the first effort hit the bar was excellent

    We did not lose and we picked up a point away from home. Between now and the end of the season we will have highs and lows, and whilst losing a two goal lead is a bit of a shit, it has not trashed our season and we remain in the mix.

    Hopefully we will see a couple of incomings tomorrow to give us a bit of a Jim Melrose effect, but if not we will have to just get on with it and back this group.

    We are a work in progress, compared to last season and compared to last autumn. We have progressed, we may not get promotion this season, I know some said that they would accept nothing less, but realistically a play off place would be an achievement and compared to last season so would top 10.
    A Jim Melrose effect you say . Chance would be a fine thing. 

    If only we had a manager like Lennie and owners and board that backed him.

    think this is the most gutting/disappointing part of todays result - it really has made it look like we will just be scrapping for one place, where as we could have been hunting Huddersfield and Stockport down, especially with the game in hand!
    It's demoralising right now, I'm feeling it too, but at the end of the day on 3rd December we were 8 points off the Play-Offs, sat in 13th place and looking very, very miserable. Now we're disappointed because we could have been sat smugly in 6th place rather than plotting a way of kicking the teams around us out of our way. Huddersfield being 4 points ahead of us after they just got turned over by the Northampton team we smashed 5-0 at the end of December doesn't put them out of our reach. We just have to keep going like this.
    I agree with this. We also have to bear in mind that we’ve had the rub of the green recently, with last gasp winners etc, so we were due a bit of bad luck, or a mistake costing us a goal when on another day we might have got away with it. These things even out, and I’m sure Jones won’t dwell on it. 
    Onwards and upwards. We have more winnable games coming up, and we shouldn’t be frightened of any of the teams around us. They’re all beatable, especially if we don’t get into a negative mindset.

    We're talking about an option in our quest to get promoted  when the option may be ending his career, ot at best will be non-league after retiring.

    It’s never easy heading a ball that’s coming over your shoulder. See Jason Pearce, who twice tried to head back to the keeper, only to concede a goal. Booting it out of play would have been the percentage move at this level. A Virgil van Dijk might have brought the ball under control with an outstretched leg, but I think Mecca was getting a bit carried away because he’d had such a good game.

    I'd have taken 2-2 before the game but was a little disappointed at full time. We should be able to see out a game when we are 2-0 up.

    I can’t see Chuks lasting in non-league where players get kicked to high heaven !!!
