Most definitely. But in a normal League campaign it is also important to score goals......especially more than your opponents. 

I'd take no clean sheets if the 46 league games all ended  2-1.

You'd then complain were not winning comfortably enough and by only one goal margin, or you would then turn around and say clean sheets are important all of a sudden.
