Good drive out of defence from Ramsay but then he tries a very difficult ball into Godden, who was all alone, instead of a simple ball to Small in the right channel.1

1-0 at half time. I'll take that given the alternative.
Rocket up the arse NJ and change it up!6 -
We’ve become very sloppy as the game went on!
no real bite in midfield, nor creativity.
get TC out wide and get Leaburn on0 -
Been outplayed which is to be expected considering how much money Birmingham have spent.
However we are also still in this, not been totally dominated, and the longer it stays 1-0 they more chance I think we have of scoring.0 -
For the most part we’ve limited them to shots outside the box. Sloppy goal to give away but should also probably be down to 10. Still in the game3

Credit to Birmingham when they've actually played Football, they've learnt from the two games at the Valley where we pressed them, put them under all kinds of pressure and just couldnt cope.
We cant get near them1 -
Been fairly comprehensively outplayed. No shame in that as Birmingham are a good team.
But time to try something different in the second half. We need someone to hold the ball up up front so I hope either Aneke or Leaburn come on at half time.
You could also even see one of the midfield 3 going off and Anderson coming on to try and shake things up a bit.

They are better than us right across the pitch. We are trying hard but the keeper gives me the willies and TC might as well not be playing. Probably a game for a Leaburn type target man but we need something that I don’t think we have.2

Great comment from Brownie " Stansfield really is quite an angry man" Hes not wrong.5
-
every single touch on their players they go down, they moan, they pull up and ask for a free kick.
they don't need to either, theyre clearly better than us and i reckon if they just played football all day they'd beat us comfortably3 -

I do think we made a bit too much fuss in the press about this game beforehand. The Manager and players talking them up and saying how it would be our biggest test looks like it's led to the players approaching the game like it's a cup tie against a team up a division rather than just another league game against a team we've already beaten this season. I hope we come out second half without any of this 'respect' we apparently owe them and start kicking lumps and making them pull the ball out of the sky at every opportunity. With them being a goal up we can't frustrate and catch them on the break but we can at least force mistakes through making the game miserable for them7

1-0 down away to league leaders is not a disaster. Jones has proven in past he can get the players going more after HT.
Major issue is Birmingham seem like the kind of team who are happy to cheat the ref in to lots of decisions.3 -
Stansfield is easy to hate, earthworm Jim looking prick4
-
Jones has some decisions to make. Campbell and Small have not been in the game up to the 44th minute when Campbell provides our best moment. He either sacrifices one or changes the shape as the pair of them are reproducing the performance they gave Tuesday night and we can't afford to carry players today.1
-
I'm fairly confident that Cochrane will play Premier League football in the future, no shame in Small not dominating him1

We are very lucky not to be down to 10 men. They were a better team than us in every department first half.
Berry and Docherty being ineffective, and TC not on his game.
60 minutes and Gilbert, Anderson and maybe Kanu on so we can press them.0 -

I would rather languish in this league for another year than have a team like that. Absolutely self entitled twats!Still they live in Birmingham…good god. No thanks3
-
This is why I’m really frustrated we didn’t sign another wide player, Campbell/Small are struggling and there’s no like for like replacement5
