Anyone been to McDonalds in Charlton retail park?

Thinking of dining there before the game on Saturday.

I don't think " dining" and "MacDonalds" really belong together.

And I would have thought one Macdonalds is just like another. I've had a Big Mac in Rome, Paris, Perth (Oz), Mallorca and all over the UK. Cant say there was any difference between them tbh.

I remember getting a McDonalds in Barcelona, which you could order with a pint of beer rather than a soft drink

and Europe says that the UK has a bloody drinking problem ;)!!

Trev, try their 1/4 pound of Olive wagyu creatively reformed into a sumptuous and lovingly crafted patty, nestling on a bed of exotic layered fresh green vegetable leaves and topped with the rarest of cultured cheese resourced from impeccable artisan producers, wrapped topped and bottomed by a luxurious sesame  briocche.
  • Wrap of the day can be a decent, cheaper option....... depending on which wrap they're doing it on...... last Tuesday night game it was the katsu curry one, yum.
I use Mickey D's for a Tuesday game but Saturdays it's Chicken George in the fanzone for me  :)

so there I was in quite possibly one of the most beautiful and culturally abundant city's in the world with some of the greatest culinary treasures you can find on the globe and I actually went out of my way to sit outside McDonald's on La Rambla with a big Mac and a pint.

It's a Maccas.  The best thing is, whilst basic and massively bad for you, it's always tasty and you know roughly what you are going to get.

If I'm away and struggling to get something you can always rely on Maccas - especially in Europe if you want to eat outside of the 15 minute slot their regular restaurants appear to open
    (lazy buggers)

Go there - and watch out for pickpockets and large rodents

Dunno. Will draw a blank by some I’m sure.
  • Perhaps a question for Lee Bowyer at the Charlton managers night event on 2nd March.

When you're a student, beans on toast is a possible option for dinner.
