Sky sports + / now tv

Notice that the next 3 fixtures are showing with sky sports + on sky site.

although I no longer have sky, I have purchased day passes for previous games on now TV.

Does anybody know how sky sports + works on now tv? A few years ago when they did the red button to select a game, it wouldn’t work on now.

wondering if sports + is like the old red button games or it will show the CAFC match by default.

maybe a silly question but I cancelled sky years ago so not sure how sports + works..

    I use Now TV.  When you click on sports and scroll down there is normally a big EFL box - click on that and any selected EFL games are listed.

Just make sure you set a reminder a couple of days before so you don't get automatically charged for the next month.

    I can second this!  I'm on a 6 month deal at £17.99 a month - which given the Charlton away games, premier league and the Formula One is pretty good I think.  Every time it comes to renewal I click cancel and then they keep offering reduced charges until you accept!

    It's such a pain and I'm amazed more of a fuss hasn't been kicked up. I know you can watch on the Sky Sports app but I don't want to watch on my phone!

    I find you do need to turn off goal notifications on your mobile from other sites given the small time lag between those and the Sky stream.

    No they're different services. My Sky subscription doesn't give me access to the NOW platform. I can watch all Sky things on Sky Go EXCEPT Sky Sports + which you can only access on your Sky box/TV, via NOW or via the Sky Sports app which is only available for phones/tablets. Basically watching on a laptop is impossible without finding a dodgy stream or using a VPN to pay the club

    I see. I don’t understand why if you have a sky subscription you can’t use that to across Now which I think you are saying is effectively your gripe.

    I’ve got Sky but pay for Charlton TV when the games are on both. The commentators on Sky are bloody woeful and you can’t beat a bit of Tel, Greg and Brownie.

    You can use NOW on a laptop, but I can understand you objecting to paying Sky twice.

    But if you'll only watch three then cheaper via cafc TV with a vpn.
