Popped in there yesterday - was very busy, they didn't have a 'large' in a few of the bits i was looking at buying but was surprised to see they had quite a few 3 and 4 xls!!! Somebody needs to tell reebok, we don't have as many fatties as america!!! if i'm honest, i think the reebok stuff is pants although I still bought an overpriced training top for £75 for my youngest but he doesn't want it  - oh well , think the shop there is a good thing and hope it does well.
    Ingrate!

I am surprised at this initial success. I have not been to Bluewater recently.
I suppose I am influenced by whenever I go to the Glades in Bromley I never see anybody in the Crystal Palace shop.
Also in Westfield in Stratford for the West Ham effort.
Maybe it is a novelty at the moment, but a temporary ‘pop up’ is the way to begin in case business drops off.
I reckon with a judicious use of ‘offers’ and the occasional good personal  appearances by well known players the three months could turn out to be a good trial. Not only for any profit but to build our profile.

Can anyone say how the shirts compare size wise to last years Castore offering?

From what I saw, they only had small and XXL/XL

    I
Thanks but what I meant was, for example, how does this years XXL match up to last years XXL in regard to sizing.

(Although I can only dream of being an XXL)
So your screen name should be XXXXLargeAddick?

Was busy in there yesterday with people buying stuff. All of the "tat" was pretty much gone but plenty of kids and adults alike trying on the new shirt etc.

Once they fill up the other side with the other kits etc, I think it'll stay busy all summer. Was good to see.

last few seasons weve have a load of those sizes sat available, large seems to fly and like you say a few bits already OOS online too which is a shame, hopefully they become available soon.

Went yesterday for a look, not a single medium kit on display assumed they'd all sold out.

Could do with some more stock to be honest, was nice to see a few Charlton shirts around bluewater though.

There's alot of demand currently as Castore didn't really produce anything for the past year and the club shop was bare in the run up to the end of season

Popped in today, pretty disappointing selection and sizes, particularly kids sizes.

Not sure I'm going to do an 80 plus mile round trip only to find they haven't my size in stock.

No real surprise there was an initial rush.
The demand for sizes will have been instructive.
Reebok should be able to reset the proportions of each sizes manufactured to replenish what's selling most quickly.
Sensibly this outlet is more about profile than profits.  Brand visibility is important - if difficult to quantify its revenue.
Gills fans will be raging that CAFC is back encroaching on "their territory"

I live nowhere near Bluewater but having a presence back in a major shopping centre even if temporary is a good move. Hopefully the away kit is announced this week and they get some more stock in then.

Brighton have a pretty sizeable store in Churchill Square down here but they're the only team I can recall down here on the south coast with a non stadium store , Southampton closed theirs during the pandemic and Pompey have the odd Christmas pop-up much like we've got.

    Yep.
Lived there between 1996 and 2014 and our local was run by a Charlton fan. Although the Irish barmaid was a Gillingham fan, she had a soft spot for us.
    Loads of us about.

I was in there this afternoon, already been said but the selection and available sizes was disappointing. Not helped that one of the wall-mounted clothes rails has collapsed and needs refitting!

Went in for first time this morning to have a look, a young girl fully decked out in Arsenal kit was pleading (successfully) with her Dad to get our new home kit, so the shop very much serving it's purpose it seems
In case you ever see something like this again...

Hopefully it’ll prove a success enough for the club to want a permanent shop there. Perhaps it’s a toe in the water to see how viable a permanent presence would be.
