Unbelievable away support to sell out all of these away games ! That’s what a bit of optimism does and long may it continue
  • Gutted, wanted 2 tickets for Wycombe.  If anyone has spares please give me a shout

If anyone has 2 spares (adult) for Wycombe away please DM me (I’m in disgrace with my 2 mates, as I have a ticket, but failed to tell them) 😳

They said they did, but have no idea where Wycombe would house any additional away fans as the stand to the right always seems to be busy with their fans, and the stand to the left I think you have to access by walking the whole way around the ground so not sure the police/stewards would want that.

I Just emailed the club regarding any extra allocation, and they confirmed that they were not exepecting to recieve any further tickets...
  • Why would they give us anymore than the normal
away end ? Was never going to happen

They’re obviously not bothered about having a 10,200 stadium, with 5,000 empty seats this season. Really surprised how poor their attendances are given how they’re performing.

Probably put off by the long walk to the ground & having a drink in the three tuns.

I now live in Wycombe, so have been to their stadium plenty of times previously.
Both of the side stands usually have loads of empty seats & all their chanting section is behind the goal.
Imagine that there will therefore be quite a few Charlton fans in both these stands, although appreciate that it’s not the same.

Looking forward to me and my sons first trip to Wycombe. Any advice on parking, best place for a beer/atmosphere before the game would be much appreciated 👍

Nice boozer opposite High Wycombe station then you can get a shuttle bus in.

In recent seasons, closer than the pub, the industrial units on the approach road leading up to the ground rented out spaces on match day. Get there reasonably early and you can more or less take your pick and stroll up to a fans area outside the ground and get something to eat and drink. Just remember, first in to park on those units is the last one to leave so if you are one of the first to park, no need to rush back to your car; but if you are one of the last ones to park on the unit just make sure to get back pronto otherwise you’ll piss off everyone else that has to wait for you.

    Wycombe's attendance yesterday: 4,827.
Their attendance in the home game before that: 3,806.

Pretty embarrassing for a club going for league one promotion.

They did however get 9,333 v Wrexham though, so i'd expect a similar crowd against us.
