Charlton and Huddersfield have locked horns on 93 previous occasions with the Addicks winning 37, the Terriers 37 and the remaining 19 encounters resulting in draws, Huddersfield ran out 2-1 victors against the 10-man Addicks in the reverse fixture at the John Smith’s Stadium in November 2024, so another reason, as if there ain't enough already, to get the victory today.
Regarding team selection, it don't sound too good for either Leaburn or Kanu, which is terrible, but Josh sounds a little bit more positive with Nathan saying "Josh is a lot closer than he was a week ago. He’s had some training and then we’ll assess and see how he is.", so maybe the bench which would be encouraging...

Josh Edwards returns to the starting XI for this afternoon’s Sky Bet League one fixture against Huddersfield Town.
The defender, who replaces Tennai Watson, has missed the last two games after picking up a groin injury in the Addicks' win at Crawley Town.
There is also a place on the bench for Jamaica international Kaheim Dixon.
Kayne Ramsay, Lloyd Jones and Macaulay Gillesphey will once again start in a back three in front of Will Mannion.
Thierry Small and Edwards are likely to operate as wing-backs with Luke Berry, Conor Coventry and skipper Greg Docherty working in a midfield three.
Matty Godden once again partners Tyreece Campbell in attack.
Watson and Dixon are joined on the bench by Dean Bouzanis, Tom McIntyre, Karoy Anderson, Alex Gilbert and Chuks Aneke.
