Good evening one and all...
Tonight we travel up to Nottinghamshire for an encounter with Mansfield Town at The One Call Stadium, Mansfield currently occupy 14th spot and sit comfortably in a relative safe mid table position after winning their last two matches, including a 2-1 result at home to Barnsley, so will be another tricky game I am sure, Nigel Clough will no doubt want to try and trip us up tonight, but we should be too strong for that, just don't take our foot off the pedal, and treat them exactly the same as we treated Huddersfield.
We are still without Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Miles Leaburn, and Daniel Kanu for tonight's trip, Charlton and Mansfield have met on just six previous occasions, with the Addicks winning three and the remaining three meetings resulting in draws, we shared a goalless draw in the reverse fixture at The Valley back in December 2024, so a rather limited playing history, and with Mansfield still chasing their first victory, but not tonight I feel, and hope...🤞
We will be wearing our grey third kit in Nottinghamshire.
Here we go...
Team news...
Tom McIntyre will make his first start for the Addicks in tonight's game against Mansfield Town (KO 7.45pm BST).
The defender replaces Lloyd Jones, who misses the match with a minor calf injury, as Nathan Jones makes one change to the side that beat Huddersfield Town 4-0 at The Valley on Saturday.
McIntyre will start in a back three alongside Kayne Ramsay and Macaulay Gillesphey in front of Will Mannion.
Thierry Small and Josh Edwards will operate as wing-backs with Conor Coventry, Luke Berry and skipper Greg Docherty once again making up a midfield three.
Saturday’s goalscorers Matty Godden and Tyreece Campbell make up the Addicks’ front two.
Dean Bouzanis, Alex Mitchell, Tennai Watson, Karoy Anderson, Alex Gilbert, Kaheim Dixon and Chuks Aneke make up the substitutes bench.
Charlton: Mannion; Ramsay, McIntyre, Gillesphey; Small, Coventry, Berry, Docherty (c), Edwards; Godden, Campbell
Subs: Bouzanis, Mitchell, Watson, Anderson, Gilbert, Dixon, Aneke.

Just have to score more than they do. Simples.
