Looks like the pen has run out of ink0

The player isn’t umming and arghing - orient havent accepted our bid and he clearly doesn’t want to go to Huddersfieldgolfaddick said:
Too late. Season's started by then. If a player uhms & aghs and cant make up his mind I don't want him. Only committed players please.bolloxbolder said:I'm not sure Swansea are in for him. I know they bid in January, but they have a new manager now. They've also spent a lot of money already.
I think we may get him in the dying days of August.I say that as an honorary northerner. Yorkshire is beautiful. But Huddersfield ain’t.2 -
Having nicknamed the scarf ‘Scarfy’ in the past, is it time to call the pen ‘Penny’?11

It's nice to see us bringing in players early so they can have a full pre season.
Contrast that to when Holden was manager and he had to take half the youth team on pre season tour as we were so short.
The club seems to be in a much better place nowadays.3 -
Right then, where's the next rumour?9
-
So are these signings to date ones we would have made if we’d still been in League One or are they targets only because of promotion?
It’s not a criticism just curious if they might have been here regardless of promotion.Perhaps there are bigger and better still being chased.0 -
Kaminski certainly wouldn't have played L1 footballvalleynick66 said:So are these signings to date ones we would have made if we’d still been in League One or are they targets only because of promotion?

Two very good signings in Kaminski & Tanto, and a potential gem in Carey.
Can't grumble at the window so far. Plenty more to do, but it's a nice start.
Also over 2 million spent on fees so far, which gives me a lot of hope, especially as we haven't received any significant transfer fees.31 -
Or in 2018 when we couldn't even fill the bench for the first game at Sunderland.blackpool72 said:It's nice to see us bringing in players early so they can have a full pre season.

Carey more than likely. Tanto possibly, although unlikely we'd have got him if still in league one. Absolutely no way Kaminski would've been a target in a division below.valleynick66 said:So are these signings to date ones we would have made if we’d still been in League One or are they targets only because of promotion?

Out of the current rumours Offiah would be the one I want the mostDannoo_86 said:So who do we think will be next in?16 -
Galbraith for me. Think it’s unlikely but I think he’s got the ability to make a real difference.Pelling1993 said:

Offiah or Reece Burke next would be my guess. Or it will be someone not even mentioned yet.3

We are signing Cormoran Strike 🤔1 -
We need a center forward, another midfielder and a right back. While there have been midfield and right back rumours not much out there on a forward. I know that position is expensive also tricky to negotiate- wouldn’t surprise if that later in the window0

Akin Famewo now that he is a free agentMarcusH26 said:Offiah or Reece Burke next would be my guess. Or it will be someone not even mentioned yet.

Not convinced we sign both him and Burke. Have concerns about both re injury record. Hope Burke isn't another Dan Potts.RonnieMoore said:

Famewo now being a free agent will increase the interest in him.1 -

Not exactly new but gone from “pushing to complete deal” on Substack on Sunday to this today
After Connor signs for Bromley, he will be known as ?

Something about returning players that I don't like.2

Kanu to Wimbledon would be a great deal. There’s a player in there, needs regular game time22
