So who is the CB/FB/WB from Luton with a decent assist record?
Amari Bell is the other one.
Can I get my ITK points now?

I suspect there's a healthy budget and I can see £5-7m total spent but I'd be surprised to see £3m on one player even if it was someone outstanding.
so i have had chats I've had with people at the club or connected have said around these numbers. Total spend of between 5-10m. Owners are 100% behind and back NJ, which is slightly a strange feeling but delightful and exciting to see!
Being a properly run club is making me uneasy, it hasn’t happened in my entire adult life and I’m just waiting for something to go wrong!

Expect him to challenge Gillesphey, whilst acting as cover for Edwards

Reckon that area of the pitch is done with the squad now.

Yeah I spoke to someone a couple of weeks back that was around those figures , described it as " competitive "for the division and that the owners don't want to just make up the numbers and fight to stay up.

Have a feeling he is one of the 4 players spoken about having signed a while back. Been away at the Gold Cup and a holiday id imagine so left til now.

Sounds like he can play a number of positions.  Part of the Championships 4th worst defense last season. No idea if he is good or bad. Luton fans don't seem bothered to lose him though.  He has the whiff of Potts/LuaLua about him to me.
The whiff of Potts/LuaLua is how i'd describe my armpits before and after applying the Lynx half hour ago

Could be another, could be that it makes life easier for the comms team not having to keep him out of shot of any training photos (if the players are in again for more testing)

If Burke does come in, I wonder if that does spell exit for one of the Mitchell brothers on loan.

With Ramsay acting as one of the Right Wing-Backs, unless we go with a flat back four even.

At the moment I can see something like

    Kaminski
    Ramsay - Jones - Gillesphey - Edwards
    Coventry - Docherty
    Campbell - Carey - Olaofe
    Godden

Alternative going based off the end of last season

    Kaminski
    Burke - Jones - Gillesphey
    Ramsay - Coventry - Docherty - Edwards
    Carey
    Godden - Campbell

It's possible that this was "scheduled" yesterday but held off due to the news about Jota. So I don't see it as impossible that we see another today but I'm not counting on it.

Has Jones ever played a flat back four with a double pivot?

Suggests to me that the plan is to keep our back 3 the same, and this is a backup signing.
I don't think any signing we make this summer is going to be looked at as back-up to what we have, everyone coming in has to be here to improve us.
    agreed

TransferMarkt, suggests we did that a lot this season (lol!) - and that he did it a few times with Luton... He certainly wasn't afraid to try different things last season, unfortunately a lot of that was in November

I think someone else mentioned earlier, I think this was all done yesterday, but club didn't feel its was appropriate to announce given the Jota news.

we managed to get to the number required for tanto which i believe was higher than mothersille so suggests we didn't rate him as highly

4.5/10 on the whelmed scale for this one.  Hope to find it is a genius move and not just friends reunited.

No he had a year left I think which is why Dmac sold, he's been stung too much recently

Ah cheers, that confused me for a moment, as presumed that if Malik really wanted to join us, and we couldnt agree a deal with Pish, then it would just go to tribunal to agree a fee

Just find something incredibly dislikeable about DMac. We'll have had a value on Mothersille that we were happy to pay and if that's not acceptable to Posh we just move on. Feels like because he's had a few gems he thinks he's some football oracle
