They're renaming The Valley due to sponsorship rights being sold, which is something that needs to be done to help pay for all the signings but no doubt everyone on here will still be up in arms about it...

It’s been mentioned on the other forum, club aren’t announcing anything tomorrow in respect to RedMidland and a service taking place at the Valley. It’s just what’s been mentioned and fair play if true.

Appreciate the ITK input and understand it’s a balance - but I wonder if we’d have been better off not knowing anything. One of those where ideally it’s all the info or nothing.

that hardly needs sensitivity nor would it stop a signing being announced, in fact better to announce on a bad news day.

If it is that then yes it's an embarressment but I doubt the football world would bat an eyelid
