Must be the biggest crowd these kids have ever played in front of them. Great experience

Flattering scoreline for them - but the lads have put in a good shift.  Fairly even for large parts.

We have given it a go, no disgrace. Tottenham deserve it, even if flattering.

Close to getting a third, dangerous low ball across the box but we couldn’t get on the end of it

That's it! Close the academy, we're crap.

Didn't deserve to win but maybe 5 - 2 is a bit harsh

First Category 2 team to play in the PL Cup final

It may not have gone how they wanted tonight but the lads can be proud of their efforts to get this far, as Charlton fans we are proud of everyone of them

Put in a great shift.  Very enjoyable watch.  Elliott, Reid and Wales standout players (for me) but whole team put in a real effort against a very good Spurs team.

The lads can hold their heads high. Scoreline flattered Spurs. Some fantastic talent in our youth ranks.

Let’s hope we see some of it in the first team. Someone mentioned Everton and Arse are sniffing round some of our talent.

I think that interest was said to be in players from a younger age group, concerning as that means they’re a few years away from turning 17 and being able to sign pro. Big challenge for the club to convince them to stay, but they also have the chance to play first team football as a teenager, which they probably won’t at a PL club.

My boy played for Brighton U15 a couple of weeks back and scored the first 2 goals in a 4-0 win against Charlton U15s at Sparrows Lane. He's only 13
