Shite refs and their work chums are one of the reasons (of many) we need to get out of this league

    HT

nothing spectacular, nor much fluid football.
game is very stop start, and we do seem keen to keep lumping it forward rather than play out and asses the game.

Very scrappy second half incoming, need someone to but their foot on the ball and look for a pass- Gilbert for Berry?

Did anybody see what TC was booked for? I have two pillars in front of me on the halfway line and couldn't see it.

All I have is the comments from the Cambridge United fans behind me.

"The ref can't book him for that. He was just retaliating. Besides, the ref didn't even see it, so he can't do anything anyway."

Straight after he was booked, they started complaining that he wasn't sent off.

This then became "He should have been sent off earlier" every single time TC got the ball.

What a horrible game ….. only football been played by us , they want it scrappy they want it nasty ……. Can see sending off today , personally take Campbell off bring Ahadme on and move Godden into campbell role .. we need more height especially at set plays

Think Small and Campbell should swap as former just not in the game. Berry needs a change too

Pushed over Gibbons after Gibbons had kneed him in the leg off the ball.

How the ref hasn't stamped out the obvious fouling of TC is my question of the day

Classic from the Cambridge fans. Not like their team should’ve had three or four yellows already but got none.

Surprised the ref hasn't stamped down on the constant stream of abuse he's been getting from Gibbons

It's because of the standard of refereeing in this league that Harris can employ the tactics that he favours. Cambridge are bloody awful but because of there lump it and win the second ball they are still in it. As for us, it would be nice if Ramsay and Small got some sort of relationship with their passing to each other.
  • As things stand, we're 10 points clear of 7th place Bolton.

Gilbert for Berry maybe. Take TC off to protect him from injury and a Red Card!
    Aneke for TC?
They will only get more arsey as the game progresses, and It's time to suck the life-blood out of them!

You could also argue that the tactics he favours are going to get Cambridge relegated

I would swap Gilbert for TC he has played wide a few times not worth risking TC now

All spoke well. JJ's observation that the soul of the club is still there was reassuring!

Sounded like Pringle has an English accent now. Did he settle here (UK I mean)?

Decent enough performance so far. Scrappy game, but we've created a couple of good chances on top of the goal.

Doubt we'll see TC second half. Leg will probably have seized up at HT.

If TC goes off them at least replace him with someone quick.....Mbick ?  Dont put Anderson there. We saw that didnt work last week. That's why Dixon needed to be on the bench.

It would have been good to watch that ... but the Charlton TV stream on my laptop has done nothing but stop and buffer all match. I think at most I've been able to watch 2 seconds before it stops again.

The good news is I've had the audio on my phone so I've not missed any of the action.

Just showed my boys pics of those legends in our shirts. They don't really understand but still enjoyed telling them. Lucky enough to have a couple of Jensen match worn shirts that'll go to them one day so gotta educate!
