Blimey, that’s a rave from the grave……it’s yours truly!
33 years ago, a lady friend of mine knitted that for me and I presented it to the club.
Quite how I ended up in the boardroom doing so is a bit of a mystery?
Only thing I regret is that it has The Valiants as our nickname, which unfortunately we were called at the time.
I never liked that and I (like most others) never stopped calling us the Addicks.
Incidentally, I believe that in print we aren’t officially called ‘The’ Addicks…….it’s just Addicks, don’t quite remember how that came about….anyone know?
You don’t see The Addicks on any of our more recent logos, such as on our merchandising or kit, hope I’ve made that clear.
    Most confusing.🤔

    Oi!
Single colour light coloured suits were not uncommon back then and were often worn by “smart young gentlemen” around town…..I’ll have you know.🤭

Tbf if you had stubble you would be a dead ringer for Richard Keys.  I wondered why your fingers were a little bit hairy last time we met.
The trousers were turn ups as well? :D

Met most of those guys in the Boadroom a few times back in the day. I can’t recall though why Ian St John was often there?
