Really poor first half. McIntryre's moment of madness apart, it's been far too easy for Northampton to deal with our rare attacks. Once again, Small is not in the game, Campbell our only threat but he's been dealt with so far. Shape needs to be changed to cope with Nolans game plan and probably a change in personal to alter this stalemate.

That McIntyre is absolutely gash. 0 confidence in him for these big games coming up. He looks fkn terrified.

God knows what Alex Mitchell has done to be behind him, but surely Jones needs to take him out next game.

Golden opportunity with everyone around us losing or drawing as well ffs.

    Come on Charlton.

Not much consolation but if scores stays like this, we will finish in top six as Bolton 10 points behind us with three more games🤔

Like the Lincoln game this is starting to resemble how we played in the first half of the season.

No cohesion & only attacking test coming from TC. Shouldn't have to rely on him all the time to try to create anything.

Need more pace & to stop hoofing it all the time.

This is the game we should be winning by 3+. Would help our GD too.

    How aboiut a Tractor Tyre?

Still got the height in the box, won't get pushed around easily, just as mobile ... and won't lift its hand up to give away stoopid pens.

You genuinely think he’s ’absolute gash’?

prone to a mistake but saved a certain goal last week.

The old Gillesphey died but he’s been reincarnated and returned as Tom McIntyre.

McIntyre looks very dodgy in everything he does.
Brilliant away performances and terrible home performances, very odd

  • So, so Charlton.

Impressive 20k+ crowd, early goal, rivals losing and we put on a very sub par display.

Godden being marked by 3 men mountains. Maybe we need a bit of muscle up front.

Macintyre having an absolute stinker. Makes Jones decision not to have Mitchell on the bench look very strange. In fact, Mitchell's exile over the past few months looks even more strange unless something has happened we don't know about.

Yes. Played ok against a very bad Mansfield side. Other than that, looks lost.

Alex Mitchell a much better centre back. Doesn't think he's playing volleyball for a start.

Don't take my word for it though, just read what all the Reading and Pompey fans said about him.

So not ‘absolute gash’ then. Inconsistent.

That was a turid half of football. Northampton taking an age with every throw and goal kick. We have to increase our tempo.

Might stick a tenner on McIntyre to score, love diabolical bets like that

Nolan still chatting away with the ref before the second half
  • I thought McIntyre would be on the bench as Jones is back. In the couple of games I’ve seen him play, he has some good qualities, but is prone to a few mistakes. Not ideal for a centre back. I think he’ll be a good player with a bit more experience, but I’d be more comfortable with him on the bench for the last few critical games this season.

That yellow card for Coventry was absolutely appalling, especially so early in the game. Coventry has been off his game since.

No I’m not okay!!! Usually FA calms me with his presence on this thread but he’s nowhere to be found today 😢

Are we tired or are we playing a bit fearful? I'm not sure what it is but we are miles off it.
