If Gillesphey is back , TC on his game and Small has one of his better games then we are in with a chance although our away form is pretty inconsistent.  Suspect it'll be a draw.

Sadly, the Charlton way is to win today and Wrexham but lose at home to Burton!  At least we have the playoffs guaranteed.

We'll be fine today, for some reason I am more relaxed than normal for todays game, and can see us getting the three points to keep up the pressure on those above us, now all we need is Blackpool and Huddersfield to do their bit as we need that as well with Bloody Wrexham and Stockpot...🤞
I think there's a case to be made that we'd be better off having Stockport winning their next two games. If they go to Wycombe with a sniff of something (autos, securing home leg of playoffs) that's better for us than them going to Wycombe with nothing to play for and resting players for the playoffs. This is based on  us winning our next two, of course.

Confident we will score today, so good chance we will get at least a draw looking at those results.

No one has a better defensive record at home than Wycombe (only 11 conceded, four less than us) so it’s going to be very tough for us to score today.

We will need to keep it tight at the back ourselves and steal away with a one nil victory.
And no one has a better away record than Charlton over the last couple of months. COYR.

It will be interesting how both teams approach it. Do we try to keep it tight for a half or go at them from the kick off. We went at Posh and it backfired but had we got a goal it would probably have been different. There will be more pressure on them and to be fair they have reacted well to pressure recently but it can build up and strangely enough, having the position to lose can ramp it up.

The Blackpool game is interesting too. I am not so much hoping but more expecting Blackpool to beat Wrexham. It has been noticeable that the cracks are appearing with Wrexham with fans criticising Parky over not playing Mullins and playing Jay Rodrigues. Let's be honest, the refs have helped them with their recent wins. It feels like they have found their wall.

I want us to win, but a draw does as little for us as a defeat, and it would benefit Wrexham, who are close to the most annoying story in world football atm

I guess there's some tactical and spiteful thinking going on.

If Wycombe win that keeps them in second ahead of Disney and when we beat the Showbiz XI on Sky that'll confine them to the play-offs ... where we can shit on their parade again but this time on a bigger stage at Wembley.

If we can't win today then schadenfreude is an important member of the subs bench.

Looking at those results, can't see anyone I would call tough opposition, other than Bloody Wrexham maybe, and look what happened there, so we should go there full of confidence and get a result...

Just do your best, Charlton and it’ll be fine. There’s no pressure, we’ve made the PO’s. All the pressure is on Wycombe who are favourites for the automatic place. COYR

Can't ask for more than to do our best. Would be very happy with that.
But we have been short on that front for a few games which makes me think we could be in for an overdue tonking. 0-3.

In terms of the possible outcomes today, us winning and Wrexham losing would open up second place.
I would say today is the most important game since the playoff final in 2019.
    No pressure then.

A draw is no good to either team, so expect a grandstand finish if teams are level after 80 minutes or so...

Hopefully Macca is back (for Macca), and Dixon on he bench if as feared Chuks is out for the season.

You really cannot tell with Charlton!. All season I have felt we are just not quite there as a team..... the loss of Leaburn and his lack of sharpness could be the missing factor. He is my favourite player so it is not a criticism. But he is out, and we have to play with the team we have. Thank god for Godden, and a much improved team performance. We are in the playoff's so that is all I ever expected, at the start of the season.

We make the top two and I’ll put £50 to eastterrace6168’s season ticket next year but if we fail to make the top two he has to stop doing emojis for 12 months ….deal or no deal 🤝
I repeat deal or no deal @eastterrace6168

You're overthinking it. Charlton are safe in the playoffs with an outside shot at automatic promotion whereas Wycombe are defending an automatic spot knowing any stumble could see them throwing it away. For my money all the pressure's on them.
