They were completely impotent. If the goals were soft, how poor were the Wycombe players and tactics. Prize plum of a bloke. You've just been out thought, out played and made to look like a relegation side.
I do think there was a foul on their defender just before Berry’s goal. Not much made of it at the time so perhaps not. I think Dodds’ interview is as expected. He’s going to give no compliments to the team he might face again in a few weeks time.
Goals One / Two don't happen if Jones and Berry are closed down Goal Three is a howler from Norris Goal Four the defender has to get to the header.
It’s not about the goals they conceded though - Its the fact he thinks they'd have got something otherwise, when in fact they caused us absolutely no threat.
He’s terrified to credit us in case he gets us in the playoffs
Fans will be fans, but I'd prefer not to get cocky and 'want' Wycombe in the play-offs or the final. The Peterborough game should remind us what is possible if you get a bit complacent. In fact, NJ politely told fans not to provide extra motivation to Wycombe in righting a wrong should we happen to play them in the play-offs.
We are the team to be feared. Make no mistake about that. Our methodical approach of not looking further than the next game keeps us grounded.
Cant see is getting 2nd, especially as our GD is much worse than the other 3 teams around us who can grab it. Only way that will change is if we beat Wycombe & Wrexham by 3 or 4 clear goals, which ain't going to happen.
The above is Golfie's post from the Northampton Post match thread PMSL !!
No, we would only have to beat Wrexham by 2 to turn the goal difference around. If we did, they would have to beat Lincoln away to be sure of going up. We would have to beat Burton of course ourselves. All still to play for next week.
Soft goals or not, he failed to mention when Wycombe managed their first shot on target. He's a poor manager who plays one up front and declares that as tactical genius. We have seen countless times that one up top does not allow you to chase the game. Bearing that in mind, how did his five in midfield get out played by our three, as I said tactical genius, not.
I have a feeling it might not be the last time we play them this season.
Some superb goals . Anderson was immense when he came on but i do hope berry is ok because with Chuks out for three games we are very light up front.
Beat Wrexham next week and who knows? Still will need them not to win at Lincoln on the last game of the season and us to beat Burton. We can still do it.
We could win the next two, Wrexham lose theirs and still not go up if Wycombe win their next two.
What a prick (not you Rothko)...4 soft goals ffs man, maybe one thanks to your useless keeper, but the other three were excellent well taken and more than deserved. You just can't take being well beaten at home by the better side, just own up to it man, your men took one hell of a beating...COYR

Wycombe are playing Orient and Stockport, no pushovers.
Wycombe are a poor side and will hope we play them in play offs
Wycombe were a poor side today and struggled against Charlton in two matches. I'm unsure why Norris has bad games against CAFC as he can't be like that normally when Wycombe hardly concede goals.
We scored 4 but WW had only conceded 11 at home all season before Charlton came calling.
I don't judge a team on one or two matches and if the table says they were 2nd then that was an outstanding team performance with clinical finishing sided by a shaky Norris on two of the goals.

I’d say their keeper was at fault for two of our goals.
Godden’s one, (obviously), but he had biscuit wrists for Lloyd’s goal too.
To be fair, not a lot he could’ve done about Berry’s and it would have been a miracle save to keep Karoy’s out.

Great cross by Small, and an acocomplished finish by Karoy. I hope next season he adds more goals to his game.

Agreed. When we were singing ‘4-0 on your big day out’ I said to my daughter that I really didn’t want to hear that being sung back to us at Wembley.

We are probably late for the automatic place, but never bet against us in the play offs.

Cramp apparently
I was wrong!
That was without doubt the performance of the season.
