I'll be in the home end desperately trying not to give myself away. I've never been known for my subtlety

Did this a couple of weeks ago. The £90 hospitality gives you a drinks token (decent enough bar) and a plate of food before the game - it was like the kitchen asked what shall we have with our chips today and on that occasion they chose a beef stew (Benny Hill WTF face gif)…

HT cakes and coffee were on offer, but didn’t get a sniff, despite it being a quite an affluent area of the country they clearly have never come across a sponge cake or brownies before as the greedy little fcukers who got to the sweet treats first took multiple slices and mere crumbs were left on the serving plates.

Post match mini Chicken & Leak and/or Meat pies. Tons of these available and I made it right to prove I had never seen one of those so banked multi. Best part of the food offering IMHO.

The Wycombe fans are totally inoffensive and lacking any expectation. They had a guest former player speaking but I was so pre-occupied trying to rationalise who may have thought it remotely acceptable to mix a beef stew with chips that I didn’t hear a word of what they were saying. The only bit I caught at the end was ‘we have got to beat Charlton today’ - hahaha, hahahaha, hahahahaha… GODDEN again ole ole was on the tip of my tongue all day, but stayed silent bar criticising ‘our own’ for shit defending and calamitous goalkeeping.

errr .. savage that I am, I knock up either a chicken or beef stew/casserole once a week, enough for 2 days (marinaded over night it tastes better than straight after cooking) now the thing IS .. I often enjoy it with some McCains crinkly chips (air fried), usually the day after cooking .. OR just as nice i m o, ladle the stew over a baked potato,  nearly as tasty as Dua Lipa  :)

I won't make either of the Wycombe games, I am still nursing a chest infection that just WILL NOT f&&& off
Allied to the fact that the kick off times are unsuitable for me right now .. I'll be glued to Sky/NOW TV sipping hot drinks and feeling sorry for poor ol me

Know how you feel mate.  Took nearly a fortnight for me to be "active" again and it's still rumbling around my lungs.  Maybe you'll be better enough to at least have a beer while you watch 👍

After persuading Mrs AA that AA junior has an entire week after the home game for revision before his first A level exam I'll be chancing my arm at 11am today.

With a 6:30pm kickoff, beef stew and chips on Sunday before the match would go down nicely! Followed by a couple of pies for the journey home.
