RAMSAY: - 8.5 Part of a defence that is like Gandalf at the chasm at Kazad-Dum. ( "You shall not pass!") The 2 blocks were other worldly.
EDWARDS: - 7 Not his best game. (It was him losing the ball that lead to the double block.) However, huge energy levels, and the threat from his long throws should not be under estimated. A Scotsman going to Wembley in his first season outside of Scotland!
COVENTRY: - 8.5 I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Conor never looks like he is tiring. Always available for defenders when they are bringing the ball out. I lost count of the number of times he stole the ball from Wycombe players. AND a free-kick on target! (If biscuit-wrist Norris had been in goal, who knows?)
DOCHERTY: - 7 Hard working and diligent. Geeing up the crowd late on. Another Scotsman looking forward to a trip to the sacred turf of Wembley.

ABSOLUTELY THE RIGHT DECISION TO TAKE HIM OFF WHEN JONES DID! Just coming back from injury, and we really don't want him to aggravate anything, so he's not available for Sunday week!
GILBERT: - 7 Decent passing display in the 1st half, and put himself about a bit, which has been a criticism of mine. Gradually drifted out of the game. Not sure if he's aggressive enough in a 3 man NJ midfield. In a 4? Probably would fit in. But what has happened to his dead ball delivery???
CAMPBELL: - 6 Largely anonymous, well marshalled by Grimmer. Looks very short on confidence. Kept on trying, though!
GODDEN: - 8 Largely feeding on scraps, but make no mistake, with this fella, he knows how important taking that one chance can be. His head never drops, and he just keeps going, until that one chance arrives. Hero, working towards legendary status...

MANNION: 7.5 fantastic punch early on, he's a lot calmer than AMB I feel. Also watching it back and though Ramsay threw some amazing blocks, Big Will had both shots covered 😉
GILLESPHEY: 9 absolutely imperious I felt, the ball to Jones was sublime and he's been an absolute rock at the back, when Kone broke through and he just eased him away from goal, brilliant defensive work
JONES: 9 won pretty much every header, and of course his marauding forwards created the opportunity for the goal, deserved efforts after missing the best chance in either game earlier on
RAMSAY: 9 throwing his body around like he threw Kone to the floor earlier on in the game, he's so calm and assured
EDWARDS: 8.5 never stops running, his long throws are a great outlet for us and he, alongside the rest of the defence, marshalled their dangerous front 3 well.
COVENTRY: 8.5 first 30 minutes he was all over the place making tackle after tackle (good) but also all over the place with his passing (not so good) but second half he really grew into the game and made us tick
DOCHERTY: 7.5 look is he the best footballer we have? No. Is he the best captain we've had in a long while? I reckon so. He commands the troops so well, and I reckon he's very influential in the stuff we don't see, in the dressing room and in training.
SMALL: 8 thought they kept him quite quiet at times, but when he beats a man and races down that right touchline, it's electric. Also defended well which isn't his strongest element usually so it was good to see
GILBERT: 7 loses an entire mark unfortunately for his quite frankly awful set pieces all game, but he tried to get us moving and put his foot in more than I thought he would
CAMPBELL: 7.5 quiet night for him, Grimmer, annoyingly, had an excellent game against him and frustrated him for large parts of the game, but he never stopped working anf ran himself into the ground
GODDEN: 9 another one frustrated by their defence last night, however when you need him to pop up in the right place at the right time there's no-one better in League 1. Also wins so much in the air for a "shorter" striker, and is as fit as a butcher's dog.
Referee: 8 didn't do anything wrong really, apart from maybe letting them take too long on set pieces in the first half, and I thought he should have handed out a couple more yellows to Wycombe to let them know their anti-football ways weren't welcome in the playoff games.
