Some of you might know more but just checking my route up to central London on Sunday and it seems that various bus replacements are in place for the Sidcup line and Orpington line.
I hope I am misreading the information.

Basingstoke to Waterloo is the same.
  • Same on Thameslink for those coming in from North of London.

Yep. No trains running from Lewisham to Grove Park/Bromley North or Orpington. Or Lewisham to Sidcup.

We'll probably go Bromley South to Victoria. Son was talking about getting to Canary Wharf  & then tube to Wembley Pk  I'll start worrying about how to get there once I secure a ticket.

I assume the Jubilee line will be stuffed full of Orient fans getting on at Stratford. Any room left for us at Greenwich North?

Standard issue at weekends, disruption and bus replacements, and with it being a bank holiday weekend...🤦‍♂️
    Deep joy for train travel...

I imagine their fan base is a spread around as ours is. A lot will live in Essex, just as lots of Charlton live in Kent.

In the past when they have closed these lines out of Orpington they still run the trains but loop around a bit via Catford and arrive around a normal time. I’m hoping that this is the case next week.

    That's what I'll be doing
Get to Orpington station at about 9am.
    Regular service to London Bridge.

Chauffeured limo decked out with charlton flags starting in greenwich, going through the blackwall tunnel for a tour of the hackney and stratford areas before heading to the north circular and round to Wembley.

Just checked on the Trainline website and there seem to be the usual trains from Orpington on 25th?

Looks like it is just Chislehurst to Grove Park that has the bus replacements as per Trainline.
    Thanks for your help

Me too.  Dover Priory/Ramsgate line not going to Charing Cross.  Doing the scenic route to Victoria.

You don't need a ticket, it's contactless payment on the tube.

Peterborough line seems to be one of the only ones with no issues for once (for now).

Wording suggests the trains from the following stations are down, but they show to be running when you punch in details for journey planner on the Sunday. Are they running from Chislehurst/Petts Wood?

I think we’ll head for Paddington via Reading

My train company planner says if you want Sidcup to London Bridge it's a bus every half hour from Sidcup to Lewisham, then the normal train. Takes an hour. Might be easier to get a bus first and start from another station.
