    Hamer  5 thought he was at fault for goal but OS says it took a deflection.  Was at fault for other errors

    Solly  6  not as good as recent games and we know why

    Taylor  6.5 physical battle

    Wiggins 6 Battled well

    Green 5  One good cross.  Can and will play better than that

    Holland 6 for the two pens  Otherwide see Stephend

    Stephens 5  struggled against their packed midfield

    Jackson 5.5  not at his best

    Kermorgant 6  Better later on but did well in the air.  Little stuck to him

    Wright Phillips 5.5 an off game where little went for him.  Missed a gimme at the death

    Hamer - 6 Distribution decent, bit error prone.Solly - 7 OKMorrison - 8 Great in the airTaylor - 7 Did alright.Wiggins - 7.5 Good outlet on the left and works very hard.Green - 6 Not at his best, needs to stay out wide more.Hollands - 6 Very defensive, no creativity.Stephens - 6 Quiet but classy in spells. When he plays well, the team plays well.Jackson - 6.5 Decent corners, kept his head well to score the pen after nearly 5 minutes of disruption.Kermorgant - 7 Good in the air.Wright Phillips - 5 Poor.

    Hamer - 6 Overdid the route one ball to Kermit and nearly put Morrison in hospital otherwise did ok
    Solly - 6.5 Stuck to his guns not as much help from Green as he usually gets
    Morrison - 7 Best defender on show MOTM
    Taylor - 6 Should be winning more headers at our set pieces quietly efficient as usual
    Wiggins - 5.5 Tried too hard at times not enough end product, at fault for 1st goal with sloppy clearance
    Green - 6 Little falshes of what he can do but a tough re-introduction to the starting line up for him
    Holland - 6.5 Got stronger as the game went on never hides
    Stephens - 6 Kept probing not his best game though
    Jackson - 6 More involved 2nd half kept a cool head for the penalty when all the shenanigans were going on
    Kermorgant - 6.5 Worked hard led the line well with some good flick ons, added another dimention with his arial ability
    Wright Phillips - 6 Always a threat but just not his day may have scored a couple with a bit more luck

    Hamer 7 had a better gameSolly 7 decent game, but some shaky patchesMorrison 7 - always gives me confidenceTaylor 7  - decent gameWiggins 6.5 even though we are not supposed to give him less than 8 every week - he had a poor first half. Green 6 disappointing I expected more, needed to be further upfield and getting crosses in.Hollands 7.5 a decent engine room performance, takes no prisoners. (MOM)Stephens 7 not at his best, but a real trier.Jackson 7 good captaincy, leading from the front as always.Kermorgant 6 disappointing overall, but won some decent headers towards the end.Wright Phillips 6 little to show in first half, they knew how to keep him quiet and he didn't adjust his game.
    Wagstaff n/a - 7 Have to say the game changed for the better when he arrived and Solly's game picked up too.    I agree with the earlier comment about missing the spark today.

    Hamer 6 Not his best game , looked injured at the end

    Solly 5 Does not look the same player without Waggy

    Morrison 7 Steady coped well with the aerial threat

    Taylor 7 Like Morrison , they have formed a good partnership at this level

    Wiggins 8 MOTM good game looking better all the time. Sound at both ends.

    Green 5 Disappointing , he has done well when brought on

    Holland 6 Sometimes got overrun by the extra man

    Stephens 6 Showed some good signs

    Jackson 7 Excellant dead balls helped out in the middle , a cool head with the penalty when Tranny were displaying gamesmanship.

    Kermorgant 6 Some good flcik ons

    Wright Phillips 6 A rare off day



    Wagstaff n/a Looked more solid when he came on

    Solly 7 worked his socks off again but looked knackered in the last 10 mins

    Morrison 7 stood up to showminin well. MOTM

    Taylor 6.5 lacked physical presence today 

    Wiggins 7 Looked the only one bothered 1st half

    Green 4 no effort and played awful

    Hollands 6 average from him. Kept giving the ball away but gave 100% and never stopped running

    Stephens 6 Quiet 1st half but good the 2nd like most of the team

    Jackson 6 The game seemed to pass him by at times but converted the Pen well and did an all fright job on the wing

    Kermit 6.5 would've been a 7 if he didn't do so many needless headers when he could've bought the ball down with ease/

    Hamer didnt have shocker at all.I dont get that comment.  The team pretty much had a shocker but Hamer certainly wasn't the worst by a long way.

    If it did then apologies because I didn't see it from the east stand but Hamer just looked very shaky today.

    Hamer. 6..Not his best day.Massive defection for goal.I had a perfect view of it. Flapped a bit at times

    Solly..6.. Played ok today. Showed he can play without aggy. Just needs to believe it

    Morrison..7.5..Great dislay.He's gonna be a huge player for us this season

    Taylor  6 Solid enough..The central pair had a lot to do today and coped well

    Wiggins.7..Played well tried hard to make things happen.

    Green  6  Spent too long at the back and offered little in attack

    Hollands  6.5 Better in 2nd half taking no prisoners

    Stephens  6.5  Looked tired 1st half but improved in the 2nd

    Jackson 6 Off the pace at times but great at deadball situations.

    Kermorgant 6 Did what he could.Not easy when everything comes at you out of the sky.

    BWP.. 6  Off form . Didnt seem to want to chase the flick ons. Will have better games

    Hamer 6 a little shaky once or twice but no chance with the deflected shot for the Tranmere goal

     

    Solly 6.5 Stuck to his task but didn't look as asured as usual

     

    Morrison 7 Solid in the face of much work courtesy of our underperforming midfield

     

    Taylor 7 It's boring writing it everytime but as Morrison sums it up!

     

    Wiggins 7.5 My man of the match. Ran at them and with more support from midfield or elsewhere might have unlocked whst was essentially a cumbersome Tranmere back 4.

     

    Green 6 Disappointing. He's not had much first team football so I'll put it down to that at the moment.

     

    Hollands 6.5 Showed more than Stephens but that doesn't say a lot! Better in the 2nd half.

     

    Stephens 6 Woeful. Had he not had one of our few shots on target and played a couple of half decent passes in the second half he would have been marked 4 or 5.

     

    Jackson 7 Showed bottle for the penalty and liked well with Wiigins

     

    Kermorgant 6.5 Some nice flicks which BWP didn't read. It will take time to gel

     

    Wright Phillips 6.5 Worked hard but didn't read Kermit as said. By his standards his weak shot late in the 2nd half was disappointing



    Wagstaff n/a 6 Thought he was going to make an instant impact but apart from that nothing really good or bad

    Hamer  6.          okay game. could do nothing about the (deflected goal) silly error with collision.
    Solly 7.5           Another great game. Seems to be growing taller with each game.
    Morrison 8        (MOM) Proper centre-half didn't put a foot (or head) wrong all game. Sheff wed loss, our gain.
    Taylor 6.5         decent game. Caught out of position a few times but otherwise solid
    Wiggins 7        good game, tried to get forward when possible, never gave up
    Green 5           poor by what was expected of him. kept coming inside to get involved, losing our wide option. Will play better, I'm sure.
    Holland 6          played too deep for my liking today when we needed to press them back.
    Stephens 6      Quite game, drifted in & out.
    Jackson 7        Decent game for JJ, not everything came off for him but didn't give up. Kept composed for the pen, despite all their silly games to put him off
    Kermorgant 7     Never gave up trying when out-number most of the time
    Wright Phillips 6 looked jaded but tried to get going. missed a sitter.
